Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Today was a very different day with no work and just family time. The only stamping that I did was with grandchildren. How wonderful to see them excited about the stamparatus! My cards today all feature the beautiful Flower and Field designer series paper. The idea of the design was not my own, it came from Karen Henderson. Here is the link to Karen’s blog.  I found this card striking because of the contrast between the beautiful Flower and Field paper and the coordinating cardstock. Let’s take a look!

Flower and Field Cards

I fell in love with this card because it was perfect for our Fab Four virtual card making event. For a virtual event you cannot include stamped images in the card kit so that makes it tough. There is no way of knowing which stamp sets people may have so you have to keep the actual stamping to a minimum. This card is perfect for that. I purposely chose dies or punches that would fit a variety of sentiments. What do you think?

In the last photo you can see the same card layout but using three different patterns from the Flower and Field collection. Our “Fab Four” event was our most popular “in person” event before COVID took over the world. The one bonus about this is that YOU can now join us for this fun event from anywhere in Canada.

Time is going fast though, you need to sign up by February 12 to ensure that you get your card making package in time. We will have a private Facebook group with four card tutorial videos and then on February 26 at 7pm we will have a Zoom meeting  to do the door prizes and just have a “meet and greet”. Cost is only $25. If you are interested you can see the event here on Facebook.
