Hello stampers. I am still alive!! I think it has been almost a month since I have posted here and while that is highly unfortunate, I know that you all understand that sometimes life happens, and that is why we need easy cards that are still beautiful. I think by the end of this post, or maybe in the middle already, you will agree that these cards fit the bill. I am sure you will also agree that after going through the new catalog several times, you will most likely still overlook some hidden gems. Did you see the new Memories and More cards and envelopes? Well go to page 194 and look at the bottom left hand corner. I am thrilled to share with you that Stampin’Up! has made cards and envelopes that perfectly fit the Memories and More cards that can be used for scrapbooking but also for card making. And now there is no more trimming!! They fit perfectly. No cutting, no scoring, just fun!! Seriously I made and designed these twenty cards in about two hours. You will be able to make them in less time since you don’t have to come up with your own designs. They truly are the easiest cards ever! Check it out:
Can you believe that there is absolutely no stamping on any of these cards? There are two of each card in the Memories and More card pack and the laser cut ones on the two cards on the far left are white on one side and either black or blackberry bliss on the other side. The card pack also comes with stickers. The word “thanks” is a sticker, the “congratulations” sentiment is also a sticker as well as the three embellishments on the “let’s celebrate today” card. Can we say “easiest cards ever” together?!
Once again, there is no stamping on this batch of cards. I did use the oval thinlets to trim the “let’s celebrate today” and I added the thick bakers twine from the Nature’s Poem suite as well as the Share What You Love artisan pearls. The last batch of cards does involve some simple stamping. Honestly, when life gets busy and you come across amazing products like this that make it so easy to make beautiful cards, it is a very good day indeed.
The only stamping done on these last three cards are a simple line image from the stunning stamp set Wonderful Moments. The twine you see in the picture here is what is left over after making twenty cards. I will be offering this as a class on Thursday July 18 at 10am and 7pm. The cost is only $60 and it includes the package of twine, ten 4×6 whisper thick white cards and envelopes and ten 3×4 thick white cards and envelopes, and a fifty card Delightfully Detailed Memories and More pack. If you choose to order these supplies online using the host code, then I will send you the pretty Artisan pearls. Now I have done some counting and it appears that I am missing some cards!! I went back to my stamp room, and yes indeed, there is one more batch so that the total of amazing cards is exactly twenty. You will still have left over twine and lots of memories and more cards to either make scrapbook pages or more cards. This really is an amazing value!
I would love to hear what you think about these cards! I may even be inspired to make some scrapbook pages with the leftover cards if I can find some time to do so. If you would like to have a card making party at my studio with your friends, let me know and I will order the supplies, you bring the wine and I will provide the fun. You will not only get a fun night out with your friends but you will go home with a ton of great cards. Have you checked out Hallmark lately? $7 plus tax for a card is not unusual. That would make this class worth $140!!
Finally, here is a quick YouTube video showing this great bunch of easiest cards ever.
