Hello stampers. It was time to ink up Sheltering Tree before it retires and I used what I call the watercolour smash technique. If you watch the video you will see why I called it that. With my limited mobility in my wrists I did mess up a little on the bike, the tires look a little thick, so now it is a mountain bike.
I did a video showing how this card was made and during the process I got an ugly melon mambo smear on that beautiful white section. How to fix it? I simply stamped a second tree!!
The twine is from a Paper Pumpkin kit from last August called Blissful Blooms. I actually like this second card better than the first one!! I am keeping my writing to the point to save my wrists, so watch the video for the rest of the tips and tricks.
The stamparatus is perfect for adding the details and also for the two-step stamping of the tree. This is a set that you will use over and over for many different occasions. Trust me, you want this one in your repertoire.

I was watching the video when you smudged the paper. To be honest with you I like it with the two trees even better! Great save!
HI Martha. I totally agree. Proves my point that embellishment opportunities are indeed that. Makes you rethink your card so that you can save it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
A ditto to the first comment. I love it with the second tree in the foreground. Makes it look like there’s an orchard going on with your card. Thank you so much for the video and for this card. Sheltering Tree is one of my favorites as well!!!!
Thanks so much for commenting Linda, I so appreciate it. Brings joy to blogging!!
Love how you fixed your boo-boo. The two trees look like an orchard. Love it.
Thanks so much MaryAnn. I prefer the second card too!
