Floral Romance

Hello stampers. How are you doing today? Here in Chatham the sun is shining, there is still a bit of snow on the ground, and my heart is full of good memories of my drive to my hometown yesterday and a lovely visit with my parents. It is always so very nostalgic to drive through the countryside there and see the rolling hills of farmland covered in a blanket of snow with the bare treelines in the distance. yes, I am a romantic at heart! The Floral Romance Suite is simply stunning. Have you seen the floral romance seals? They bring to mind old-fashioned love letters from a bygone era. The petal pink variegated ribbon is so soft and silky that it ties like a dream and is easy to mail since it doesn’t bulk up at all when tied in a bow. The Floral Romance specialty designer paper is enough to make your swoon. It has three sheets of each pattern and two of the patterns are vellum. There is also a lacy dynamic textured embossing folder which is just a long way of saying that it is one of those thick ones that make a very deep impression. There is also a 12×12 cardstock assorted pack in three colours, fresh fig, mossy meadow and petal pink, perfect for scrapbookers. Would you like to see the cards I have made with this beautiful suite?

Vellum from Floral Romance Specialty paper

In the cards above you can see the vellum in the background of both cards that is part of the Floral Romance specialty paper. The bottom card has the variegated ribbon from the suite and the top card has fresh fig ribbon from the annual catalog. The sentiments were punched out using the Pretty Label punch in the annual catalog. The rest of the framelits are from the Be Mine Framelits from the Meant to Be bundle. Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam are a great accent to the Floral Romance specialty paper.

Forever Lovely pairs up with the Floral Romance suite

In this card I used the sentiment from Forever Lovely. The font is perfect for the feeling of this romantic card. Don’t you love the seal? The highland heather ribbon on this card was from sale-a-bration but it was so popular that it is no longer available. Did you know that you can colour white or sheer ribbon with your Blends to get just the look you want? Blends were also used to colour the pearls. There is old olive linen thread tied around the lace embossed panel along with a beautiful piece of the Floral Romance vellum. What do you think of the Be Mine stitched framelits dies? There are so many beautiful framelits and bundles in the Occasions catalog that you really do need to consider getting the great deal on the starter kit. The biggest concern people have with getting the kit is that they think they have to be me!!! Scary thought and not at all true. You can get the kit just for the deal or for your own continued discount. Just click here if you want to spend only $135 but get $225 in product. Did I tell you there is also no shipping or tax?

Blends,All That You Are and Floral Romance

I recreated this gorgeous card from a swap card that I received from Jenn Tinline. Mine is not as vivid as hers since I was missing my dark Flirty Flamingo Blend! The image is from All That You Are which is tucked away on the inside cover of the Occasions catalog and is very easy to miss. In fact, I first thought it was a host set! Do you see how the colours are perfectly coordinated with that gorgeous vellum? This next card is also a swap card but I have no information on whose it is, so if it is yours, please take credit.

Beautiful detailed framelits from the Floral Romance suite.

Do you see those gorgeous framelits?! Wow! They make it so very easy to make a stunning card and if you use the Precision Base Plate with your Big Shot you will not be endlessly poking out little bits. The die brush is also a very handy tool for streamlining your die cutting experience.

I have more bits cut out from this suite, but lunch is calling my name and after that it is pickleball time, so I am going to show some restraint and stop right here. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for following my blog and shopping with me whether online or in person. Every little bit helps! Just click on any of the images below and you will be taken straight to my online store. It is most helpful if you use the current host code when placing your order and I will send you a lovely card in the mail as a thank you.  If you want to join my team or if I can help you in any way, don’t hesitate to contact me. Hugs!!
