Hello stampers. I have a wonderful surprise on Saturday when I opened up my Lilypad Lake stamp set. Inside were three beautiful cards already made. I had forgotten that I had put these cards inside the case. All I had to do was make one more card and then I was all set for my Sweet Suite Saturday class. I shared that card with you yesterday. Thanks to my team member Alison Reid for making these cards for me many, many months ago. Let’s take a look at them.
Don’t you just love the background of this card? There is a fantastic die in the Lilypad Lake bundle that cuts this beautiful wavy background. I find it such a calm and peaceful card, perfect for the sentiment that it expresses.
I love this gathering of three herons contemplating the horizon. What a serene card. This last card is more funky and vibrant. I love all the different images and sayings in this set.
In this card Lilypad Lake goes bold and nautical. Framelits make it easy to create a fun card like this. No endless fussy cutting! The last project I am going to share with you is from another Canadian demonstrator, Elizabeth Green. I just love the sayings and what she did with it. This goes to show you that stamps are not only for card making! If you want to read all about her project, you can visit her blog here.
Isn’t this just a fabulous stamp set? I hope these projects brought a smile to your face, I know I am smiling. I can’t wait to make Elizabeth’s project, I have some art fairs coming up and this might just fit the bill perfectly. Have a super day and let me know if you want to join in on Sweet Suite Saturday. The class will be on June 1 at 1pm. The cost is $25 for four cards or FREE with the purchase of the bundle.
