Hello stampers. Have you seen the new selection of freebies for our annual Saleabration event? There has been so much hype about the Painted Seasons bundle (with good cause) that All Adorned is waiting patiently in the shadows. This set was created specifically to work beautifully with the stamparatus. I chose to make my cards in night of navy and granny apple green. I absolutely love those two colours together. These cards came about because I was playing with the set before looking at anything online. I wanted to see what would happen when I used different sized squares. I started with a four inch square, then a 3 1/2″ square and finally a 3″ square. They all work great for different effects.

This was the last card I made but the first square I stamped. It is the four inch square. What is nice about this design is that it leaves a nice amount of white space in the middle that fits and image and a sentiment. I used Artfully Aware, the magnificent set designed by Janet Wakeland in honour of her mom who is struggling with Alzheimer’s. My four inch panel is mounted on a 4 1/4 inch granny apple green card.

This was the second square I made and it is 3 1/2″. The saying and the hearts are also from All Adorned. I also stamped the night of navy cardstock tone on tone for a subtle effect. With the stamparatus you can just turn your cardstock ninety degrees each time for perfect placement.

This card uses the last square I stamped, it is the three inch one. In this square all the stamped images touch each other. Don’t you just love the different looks? I can only imagine that it would look magnificent embossed in silver, gold, copper or black! I used the Blends to colour the clear epoxy droplet. The background is the beautiful new embossing folder Country Floral that you can also get for free with a $60 purchase in Canada until March 31, 2019. My picture isn’t as clear as I would like, but no time for a redo!! My eyes have definitely seen better days. Glasses are not too far off I think. Or maybe I shouldn’t be taking pictures before breakfast!!

This card uses the stamp set All Adorned in a different way. You simply stamp the image with the stamparatus in granny apple green, then stamp the coordinating image in night of navy and move the plate up the hinge two notches to stamp again. The small circle image connects that larger images and is also great for covering any smudges that may have happened from inky fingers!!

I hope you have enjoyed this sampling of cards using All Adorned. You can see what a beautiful crisp image it makes that can be easily repeated using the stamparatus. I have some spots left in March if you want to host your own private gathering with a group of friends. I would love to get creative with you! Remember, I do all the prep work, you have all the fun. If you live in Canada and are looking for a Stampin’Up! demonstrator, I would love to be your person. Just click on the images below and you can start shopping. Spending more than $100? You should seriously consider the starter kit. You will pay only $135, but you get to choose a whopping $225 worth of product. You will also get a free Paper Pumpkin kit in there as well as 8 catalogs to give to your friends and neighbours. Sound great? Click here. You also get to come to my Diva Day on March 23 if you join my team. A whole day of pampering and stamping and a treat bag to take home. How much fun is that?

Hello stampers. Painted Seasons is truly beautiful. The stamp set is stunning with its distINKtive design and the coordinating paper is so lovely that you will be tempted to hoard it. But that is not the way to enjoy paper. Create with it and then send those cards to people and spread joy!! #loveitchopit is the way to go. If you cut your paper into smaller pieces that suit your needs you will use it in a very productive and time efficient manner. For most of these cards I used strips that were 3″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall. Let’s take a look.

I paired the Painted Seasons bundle with the More Than Words stamp set. I found that if you stamp your words off to the left then you have room to add an embellishment. To make the olive linen bow I just used three strands together to make a fluffy bow. One of the pinecones is stamped in soft suede and the other in early espresso. The soft suede one has been popped up. The base of the card is soft sea foam.

For this card I forgot to stamp over to the side so that made it a bit more difficult. I love how the variegated petal pink and white ribbon picks up the colours in the paper. You can also sponge the edges of your succulent with flirty flamingo when stamping the second time with your stamparatus to get a lovely realistic look. I did a Facebook live video showing how to do that.

In this closeup picture you can see the lovely detail in both the succulent stamp and in the saying from More Than Words. I stamped “Wishes” in soft sea foam and then stamped the second stamp which is only the bottom half of the word “wishes” in pear pizzazz. The word “birthday” is separate and I also stamped that in pear pizzazz. Love the look of this!!

This fun card was cased from Tammy Beard. By necessity I had to change up the sentiments. I used the new punch that is available through the sale-a-bration coordination offering. My oval framelits are still missing in action so I am slightly limited in my creativity!! The frogs were coloured in Call Me Clover and Old Olive Blends.

Are you seeing how easy it is to create beautiful cards using the #loveitchopit system? All these cards follow the same formula but have slightly different embellishments and accents. When you have great raw materials and fantastic coordination it is very easy to make stunning cards.

This card uses some leftover strips of paper. I made it during a Facebook live video so it isn’t perfect but I really do love the look of it. The colours are just so pretty. The base of the card is petal pink and picks up the colours in the flowers of the patterned paper and the green leaf trim pulls out the call me clover colour in the paper as well. The words were stamped in Petal Pink and Calypso Coral.
Here you can see the Sale-a-bration Coordination products. Can you believe it is already the last month of saleabration? It is the only time of the year where you can get free things with a $60 purchase or when you get so much more in your starter kit. Don’t miss out!!

This last card was cased from Brian King. I love how he used both sides of the patterned paper for a very striking card. I switched it up a little bit but the bones of the card and the colour combination is totally his! I just love how we can inspire each other.

I saved this card for last since it doesn’t use the same formula as the others. I did use the Story Label punch for a quick focal point. The words are from More Than Words stamped in Call Me Clover. You can get the Painted Seasons bundle which includes the stamp set and the paper as a free item with a $120 purchase. You can get just the paper with a $60 purchase. The coordinating framelits are available for $38. What is nice about the framelits is that there are two larger leaf framelits, two fern framelits and three small leaf framelits. If you live in Canada and don’t have a demonstrator I would love to have you shop with me or even better, get the great deal on the starter kit and join my team!! Just click here to make that happen, or click on the items below to be directed to my online store.
Before I close, I thought I would share a video I did a while ago (I think a year ago) about the philosophy of #loveitchopit. I hope it helps you use your paper rather than hoard it.

Hello stampers. Oh the detail in Painted Seasons!! This gorgeous set is a DistINKtive stamp set which means that the images are naturally shaded and variegated with no extra effort. This one is even better because it is red rubber so it gives the best image possible. This is what Stampin’Up! says about their DistINKtive stamps.
“Add monochromatic dimension and artistic flair to your stamping with Stampin’ Up!’s Distinktive stamps. Distinktive stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image for realistic depth and intensity.
All Distinktive stamps fit neatly on Classic Stampin’ Pads (see p. 182–187). For best results, apply ink to stamp using only the middle of the ink pad. Inking stamp along edges of an ink pad may cause ink lines to appear in the final stamped image.”
Since it is so beautifully detailed, Painted Seasons lends itself extremely well to collage stamping. What is collage stamping you might ask? It is when you stamp various images repeatedly together in a random fashion to make a background pattern. I did mine monochromatically, which means I used only one colour, night of navy. I was initially inspired by Chris Stone.

These cards are all made using night of navy ink, whisper white and night of navy cardstock. The sayings come from the lovely set Kindness and Compassion. The first card was stamped using only the fern image on a piece of whisper white measuring 3 1/4″ by 4 1/2″. The centre card has the images stamped across the middle of a 4″ by 5 1/4″ piece of white cardstock. The last card is all the images in the set randomly stamped on the card front which was layered on a night of navy card base. For my last card I cut a strip off another panel that I had stamped and used it as a focal point.

This card shows how well the collage stamping works with the new Country Floral embossing folder. I also used the More Than Words stamp set that is part of the Saleabration Coordination special release of products. This stamp set coordinates with all of the saleabration stamp sets.

The coordinating framelits that go with our saleabration stamp sets are also available now. How much fun is that??

by Jackie Bultje | Feb 25, 2019 | Lasting Lily Framelits |
Hello stampers! Stampin’Up! has done something very different for the first time. They have offered coordinating products that you can buy that will make your free sale-a-bration items that much more enjoyable. I think many of us were wishing that the frog stamps had framelits because they are just so cute cut out. Lasting Lily framelits also make this beautiful stamp set so much more versatile. When the Lasting Lily framelits were released I knew right away that I wanted to feature them at our next Fab Four event. Stampin’Up! had a sample made using the Gingham Gala paper and I cased it tweaking it to make it my own and using all the colours in the Gingham Gala assortment of paper: Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.

All the cards have the same recipe. The gingham gala paper is cut to exactly fit a card front: 4 1/4″ by 5 1/2″. The largest stitched shape circle is used to cut a circle in the front. On a 4″ square of white card stock I stamped the leaves in either old olive or mossy meadow. This panel was then adhered to the back of the gingham gala piece. Linen thread was then tied around twice and tied into a bow. On some cards this thread went over the circle opening and on other cards it went under or below the sentiment. The sentiment was popped up with dimensional as were some of the lilies.

In this balmy blue card the sentiment comes from the great new set from the Saleabration Coordination offering called More Than Words. I love how the red pops on the light blue background.

Another vibrant contrast! Lemon lime twist gingham gala paper with gorgeous grape Lasting Lily framelits. The framelits allow you to cut the lilies and have them “coming out of” the circle for a very pleasing effect. No fussy cutting!! The sentiment comes from the fabulous set Strong & Beautiful.

It was such fun playing with all the spring like colours when the wind was howling around me this weekend. We didn’t get that much snow or freezing rain, but the wind made it sound like we were in the midst of a raging snowstorm. This was literally a breath of spring in my stamp studio!

I actually used Calypso Coral on this card, not Grapefruit Grove like I wrote in the description of this card. I love the vibrant colour contrast with the softer gingham gala paper. The linen thread makes it feel like a bouquet that you just picked up at an outdoor farmers’ market.

The last card is Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala paper with Highland Heather Lasting Lily framelits. The saying is from the free sale-a-bration set Part of My Story which you cannot buy but can only get for free with a $60 purchase only until March 31, 2019.

The framelits cut out both lilies, a leaf and both stems as well there are two different sized labels for the sayings.

What did you think of these cards? I love the fresh, crisp feel of them and I think that they would make a lovely gift of assorted cards for a friend’s birthday or Mother’s Day. There are so many ways you can bless people with your handmade cards. Instead of buying expensive gifts for your loved ones give them the gift of your creativity. Not only will they feel the love, but they will in turn be able to pass this love on to other people. The gift that keeps on giving!!
Lasting Lily is also a free sale-a-bration item, it cannot be purchased, but it is FREE with a $120 order before shipping and tax. The coordinating framelits will be available for sale on March 1 or can be added to your starter kit already today. If you want to take advantage of the amazing deal on the starter kit, you can click here. You will pay only $135 with no shipping or tax and you can choose any products you want for a total of $225. Almost too good to be true. If you have any questions or hesitations, please contact me and I will do my best to help you out. Hello stampers. How are you doing today? Here in Chatham the sun is shining, there is still a bit of snow on the ground, and my heart is full of good memories of my drive to my hometown yesterday and a lovely visit with my parents. It is always so very nostalgic to drive through the countryside there and see the rolling hills of farmland covered in a blanket of snow with the bare treelines in the distance. yes, I am a romantic at heart! The Floral Romance Suite is simply stunning. Have you seen the floral romance seals? They bring to mind old-fashioned love letters from a bygone era. The petal pink variegated ribbon is so soft and silky that it ties like a dream and is easy to mail since it doesn’t bulk up at all when tied in a bow. The Floral Romance specialty designer paper is enough to make your swoon. It has three sheets of each pattern and two of the patterns are vellum. There is also a lacy dynamic textured embossing folder which is just a long way of saying that it is one of those thick ones that make a very deep impression. There is also a 12×12 cardstock assorted pack in three colours, fresh fig, mossy meadow and petal pink, perfect for scrapbookers. Would you like to see the cards I have made with this beautiful suite?

In the cards above you can see the vellum in the background of both cards that is part of the Floral Romance specialty paper. The bottom card has the variegated ribbon from the suite and the top card has fresh fig ribbon from the annual catalog. The sentiments were punched out using the Pretty Label punch in the annual catalog. The rest of the framelits are from the Be Mine Framelits from the Meant to Be bundle. Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam are a great accent to the Floral Romance specialty paper.

In this card I used the sentiment from Forever Lovely. The font is perfect for the feeling of this romantic card. Don’t you love the seal? The highland heather ribbon on this card was from sale-a-bration but it was so popular that it is no longer available. Did you know that you can colour white or sheer ribbon with your Blends to get just the look you want? Blends were also used to colour the pearls. There is old olive linen thread tied around the lace embossed panel along with a beautiful piece of the Floral Romance vellum. What do you think of the Be Mine stitched framelits dies? There are so many beautiful framelits and bundles in the Occasions catalog that you really do need to consider getting the great deal on the starter kit. The biggest concern people have with getting the kit is that they think they have to be me!!! Scary thought and not at all true. You can get the kit just for the deal or for your own continued discount. Just click here if you want to spend only $135 but get $225 in product. Did I tell you there is also no shipping or tax?

I recreated this gorgeous card from a swap card that I received from Jenn Tinline. Mine is not as vivid as hers since I was missing my dark Flirty Flamingo Blend! The image is from All That You Are which is tucked away on the inside cover of the Occasions catalog and is very easy to miss. In fact, I first thought it was a host set! Do you see how the colours are perfectly coordinated with that gorgeous vellum? This next card is also a swap card but I have no information on whose it is, so if it is yours, please take credit.

Do you see those gorgeous framelits?! Wow! They make it so very easy to make a stunning card and if you use the Precision Base Plate with your Big Shot you will not be endlessly poking out little bits. The die brush is also a very handy tool for streamlining your die cutting experience.
I have more bits cut out from this suite, but lunch is calling my name and after that it is pickleball time, so I am going to show some restraint and stop right here. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for following my blog and shopping with me whether online or in person. Every little bit helps! Just click on any of the images below and you will be taken straight to my online store. It is most helpful if you use the current host code when placing your order and I will send you a lovely card in the mail as a thank you. If you want to join my team or if I can help you in any way, don’t hesitate to contact me. Hugs!!
