Hello stampers. I knew from the very beginning of my stamping journey that I was a “gotta have it all” girl. That is why it took me a while to commit. When I was first introduced to stamping I stopped dead in my tracks and got nothing. It’s not that I didn’t like it. I liked it a lot!! So much so in fact that I realized almost right away that I would not be able to just dabble in this hobby. If I couldn’t get it all, I decided to get nothing. That didn’t last long. My first decision was to become a regular hostess. In the spring and in the fall I hosted a huge workshop earning me lots of free items. After a while it wasn’t enough. I needed my own discount and I wanted to share what I love with others. I became a demonstrator. I have never looked back and it has been an amazing journey. That is why the Gotta Have it All Bundle immediately caught my eye. It spoke to my heart!
Stampin’Up! has come out with a great suite of products called Share What You Love and one of the bundles available to you is the Gotta Have it All Bundle. While it is the most expensive bundle, it is also the one with the most bang for your buck. You get THREE free items with this bundle and I would suggest gathering some orders from your friends so that you qualify for a workshop and host benefits, or simply add in the bundle of new in colour ink pads and you will be there as well. Here is a screen shot of what is in this awesome bundle.
You can see all the details for this sale right here as well. I fell in love with just about everything in this bundle and I have had a lot of fun playing with it this afternoon. Here are the cards I have made. I hope you enjoy them and I would love to hear what you think, so please take the time to comment.
Let’s take a closer look at the first two cards. Both of them have a black mat measuring 4″ by 5 1/4″ with a strip of patterned paper 1 1/4″ by 5 1/4″. One has a large stitched shape circle and the other a slightly smaller one mounted on a pearlized doily. I did an emboss resist watercolour wash on these. You emboss the flower on the one card and the sentiment on the other with white embossing powder and then “wash” over it with an aqua painter mixed with either rich razzleberry ink or grapefruit grove ink. I used shimmer white cardstock for the circles.
The next card uses some of the embellishments from the Share What You Love embellishment kit that you get for free if you buy the Gotta Have it All bundle.
This card uses a wee bit of paper piecing. I stamped the flower on a piece of scrap shimmer white paper and then colour washed them with rich razzleberry and added them to my card front for a pop of colour.
There are so many lovely floral images in the stamp set Love What You Do and I tried to use all of them on this next card. I think it turned out quite nicely!!
The last card uses some fussy cut flowers that I cut from one of the beautiful sheets of paper that come in the Share What You Love specialty designer series paper. Wow! A lot of this paper has a pearlized finish as a subtle reminder that we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Stampin’Up! Pretty impressive I think.
I hope this gives you a bit of an idea of what is available in this fabulous bundle. I didn’t even use the Make A Difference stamp set which you will find to be incredibly versatile with three different alphabet fonts and so much more. That calls for a separate blog post. If you have any questions please message me, and of course I would love your business if you live in Canada and do not have a demonstrator. The current host code is always in the sidebar and you can just click on any of the catalogs to shop!
