On The Ocean Collage Stamping
This collage stamping card is a slimline card that uses only stamps, ink and paper. No dies, no punches, no ribbon or any other accessories. It can be a challenge making a simple stamping card so I am always thrilled when it turns out so well. Let’s take a look.
This card is my submission for the Demo Design Dream Team. This is a monthly tutorial bundle that my customers and my team get for free. The theme this coming month is Simple Stamping. Would you like to see the inside?
Colours Used
\For this slimline card I used Soft Sea Foam as the base which measures 7″ by 8 1/2″ scored at 3 1/2″. The dark blue layer is patterned paper from Countryside Inn and it measures 3 3/8″ by 8 3/8″. The white layer is 3″ by 8″. My ink pads are Starry Sky and Bojo Blue as well as Soft Sea Foam. What do you think of this On The Ocean stamp set? New In Colors and Core Colours
Yes, I am using both ways of spelling this word. I use the American spelling so that people can find it in a Google search, and I use the Canadian spelling because I am after all Canadian!

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you! Today I introduce you to the Stampin’Up! brand new Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies. Of course you may have seen them in use if you follow me on YouTube and if you have seen the information on my new In Color Club.
This In Color Club is very user friendly. How so? I am going to do it in three stages to make it easier for you to decide your level of participation. Part One, “Look and Touch” gets you four sheets of each in color cardstock, one yard of each in color ribbon, two sheets of each in color patterned paper and a package of in color gems.
Part Two, “All In” gets you the five in color ink pads, and the five in color ink refills.
Part Three, “Let’s Get Colouring” gets you all the new in color Blends. If you participate in all three then you get a free package of In Color Markers. With each session there will be a Zoom class. This class will also be recorded so that you can catch it later if you need to.
Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and Dies
I am so in love with the daisy dies that I am going to show you the daisies before I show you the stamp set. They can layer with three dies for a stunning effect. Daisies are beautiful in real life, but these paper ones are pretty stunning too!
Lemon Lolly or Wild Wheat?
If you look closely at the above photo you will see that the card uses Wild Wheat for the daisy centres but the sampler at the bottom right uses Lemon Lolly. Which one do you prefer? I like both of them as they are both realistic. Lemon Lolly gives more of a spring feel and Wild Wheat leans more to summer and autumn. The background of the photo is from the Fresh as a Daisy paper and it is definitely Wild Wheat.

Another Look at the New In Colors
Here is a fun look at all the new in colors: Moody Mauve, Bojo Blue, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay and Pebbled Path. On the right, you will see a stamped-off version of each colour as well.

Hello stampers. Happy Tuesday to you! Soon I am going to be offering a different type of In Color Club. The first one is called “Look and Touch”. My idea is to introduce the new colours gradually. First you will get the cardstock, a ribbon share and a half pack of in color designer series paper as well as the in color gems. By looking and touching, you will see which colours you like. Then you can decide if you want to join in on part two of the In Color Club.
In Color Club Part One
I made what I think is a very cute sampler showing the new Stampin’Up! In Colors to perfection. One of the things that sets mine apart from many that you will see online is that I have stamped off the image so you can see what it looks like in a lighter tone. Sometimes we forget that we get multiple colours with each ink pad! Seeing the ribbon alongside the cardstock is also really helpful!
I used the Stylish Shapes dies and the new Cheerful Daisies set to make this sampler. My in color gems have not yet arrived, but when they do I will add them for a pretty finishing touch. The labels on the right were coloured with Blends so you can also see what they look like.
Want to Make One of Your Own?
If you want to make one of your own, it might be handy for you to see the backside of this project. You will see that I re-used some cardstock as there are stamped images on the back. Yes, I am frugal!!
I put strips of tear & tape on the back to first add the small banners and the ribbon, and later the larger banners. Then I added extra strips of tear & tape to secure everything and to adhere the backing on. I upcycled again by using the cardstock that came in the package with my new catalog!
