Stampin’Up! Brand New Cheerful Daisies

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you! Today I introduce you to the Stampin’Up! brand new Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies. Of course you may have seen them in use if you follow me on YouTube and if you have seen the information on my new In Color Club.

This In Color Club is very user friendly. How so? I am going to do it in three stages to make it easier for you to decide your level of participation. Part One, “Look and Touch” gets you four sheets of each in color cardstock, one yard of each in color ribbon, two sheets of each in color patterned paper and a package of in color gems.

Part Two, “All In” gets you the five in color ink pads, and the five in color ink refills.

Part Three, “Let’s Get Colouring” gets you all the new in color Blends. If you participate in all three then you get a free package of In Color Markers. With each session there will be a Zoom class. This class will also be recorded so that you can catch it later if you need to.

Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and Dies

I am so in love with the daisy dies that I am going to show you the daisies before I show you the stamp set. They can layer with three dies for a stunning effect. Daisies are beautiful in real life, but these paper ones are pretty stunning too!

Lemon Lolly or Wild Wheat?

If you look closely at the above photo you will see that the card uses Wild Wheat for the daisy centres but the sampler at the bottom right uses Lemon Lolly. Which one do you prefer? I like both of them as they are both realistic. Lemon Lolly gives more of a spring feel and Wild Wheat leans more to summer and autumn. The background of the photo is from the  Fresh as a Daisy paper and it is definitely Wild Wheat.

Not Many Links

I cannot include links for these products because they are not available until May 2 in the annual catalog. If you are a local, you can pick up your catalog from my front porch in Chatham. Not local and need a catalog? Please message me with your address in either Canada or Europe and I will be in touch to get a catalog to you.

“Look and Touch” New In Color Club

Hello stampers. Happy Tuesday to you! Soon I am going to be offering a different type of In Color Club. The first one is called “Look and Touch”. My idea is to introduce the new colours gradually. First you will get the cardstock, a ribbon share and a half pack of in color designer series paper as well as the in color gems. By looking and touching, you will see which colours you like. Then you can decide if you want to join in on part two of the In Color Club.

Look and Touch new Stampin'Up! In Color Club with The Pampered Stamper

In Color Club Part One

I made what I think is a very cute sampler showing the new Stampin’Up! In Colors to perfection. One of the things that sets mine apart from many that you will see online is that I have stamped off the image so you can see what it looks like in a lighter tone. Sometimes we forget that we get multiple colours with each ink pad! Seeing the ribbon alongside the cardstock is also really helpful!

Look and Touch new Stampin'Up! In Color Club with The Pampered Stamper

I used the Stylish Shapes dies and the new Cheerful Daisies set to make this sampler. My in color gems have not yet arrived, but when they do I will add them for a pretty finishing touch. The labels on the right were coloured with Blends so you can also see what they look like.

Want to Make One of Your Own?

If you want to make one of your own, it might be handy for you to see the backside of this project. You will see that I re-used some cardstock as there are stamped images on the back. Yes, I am frugal!!

Look and Touch new Stampin'Up! In Color Club with The Pampered Stamper- this is the backside to show the assembly.

I put strips of tear & tape on the back to first add the small banners and the ribbon, and later the larger banners. Then I added extra strips of tear & tape to secure everything and to adhere the backing on. I upcycled again by using the cardstock that came in the package with my new catalog!

Save Your Spot!!

If you want to reserve your spot for the first part of the In Color Club then you can click on the PayPal button below for the option that suits you best. The first is for Canada and you can choose porch pickup or shipping included. The second option is for Europe as the payment is in Euros.

Of course there needs to be a Zoom class so that we can play with the new colours together. The date for this Zoom class is Wednesday May 31 at 1pm EST or 7pm CET. Once you register for the club you will get the link for the Zoom class.

If you enjoy Part One of the In Color Club then you have the option of participating in Part Two which I am calling the “All In” In Color Club. Here you will get all the ink pads and all the reinkers. Part Three of the In Color Club will be “Color Me Beautiful” and then you will get all the new In Color Blends. If you participate in all three instalments of my In Color series then you will get a FREE package of in color markers.

I hope that you are as excited as I am about this new club!!

Split Sponging Technique

Hello stampers and happy Saturday to you. I know! A blog post on Saturday? This free split sponging technique Zoom class is so exciting to me that I just couldn’t wait to share it with you. While you are reading this blog, I am sharing this card with the 25 Dutch demonstrators that came to my High Tea and Paper Pumpkin event. When demos get together we usually like to swap. That means that I will be sharing my swap cards with you in the next little while.

Free Zoom Class with the Split Sponging Technique

Why do a free Zoom class? I’ll be totally honest. The truth is that running my business online can get a bit lonely. With the fact of living in two countries and traveling a lot back and forth, it is difficult to hold consistent in person classes. While I love creating video tutorials, I thought it would be a nice change to be able to see you as well. Creating a lively stamping community is dear to my heart. Here is the link to the event where you can also get the Zoom link to join in on this free class which will be on Tuesday May 9 at 4pm CET which is 10am EST. You can google what time that is in your time zone.

Split Sponging Technique Cards

Here you can see what we are going to be creating. It’s really so simple, yet so striking. Huge thanks to Jay Soriano for sharing this technique and layout. If you want to see more cards made with Artistically Inked, check out this blog post.

Of course I couldn’t leave the inside of the card blank, so I stamped the small flower from Artistically Inked in the inside using Melon Mambo and Parakeet Party for the leaves. You can really see the distINKtive design of this stamp. Basically this means that you get a variegated colour with just one simple stamp. I love how artistic this makes me look and feel!

What to do before the free Zoom class

First of all you are going to want to put the date and time into your calendar on your phone so that you get a reminder. Then click  “going” on my event page so that I know I won’t be stamping alone. Be sure to check out the supply list below to make sure you have what you need to play along. Questions? Message me; I love to help.

Zoom Recording

Did you miss the free Zoom class? Here is the recording for you. Enjoy!!

March 2023 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Hello stampers and happy Thursday, Gerard is at a dinner meeting from all the flower growers, so I am having a working supper complete with salad, a savoury pastry and yes, my second glass of wine. If there are spelling errors, you will know why! Today I am sharing with you some March 2023 Paper Pumpkin alternatives. Once again, I am using the lovely stamp set, Places in the Heart. Yes, oma is missing her grandchildren just a bit!!

Places in the Heart with the March 2023 Paper Pumpkin

One of the great benefits to Paper Pumpkin is that there is this great Paper Pumpkin community of stampers who share their Paper Pumpkin alternatives. This time I thought I would contribute to this treasure trove. I am totally in love with the Places in the Heart stamp set. Thankfully it is carrying over to the new annual catalog. Would you like to see my cards?

Places in the Heart stamp set combines with the March 2023 Paper Pumpkin for this great simple card coloured with our in color Blends alcohol markers.

I may be a rare bird, but I really like simple cards without a sentiment on the front. You can write heartfelt words in the inside, don’t you agree?

Here is my second card with the very same layout. You simply stamp your image from Places in the Heart, colour it with your in color Blends and then “fussy” cut it. Fussy cutting simply means cutting with scissors as opposed to using dies and a die cutting machine or some sort of electronic cutting device such as the Scan’n’Cut.

Happy Vibes

I don’t know about you, but these cards just give me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Perhaps this will shock you, but I truly enjoyed being a mom to five amazing kids. Never was there a regret for having “that many” children. Now I get to enjoy “oma snuggles” and that is precious as well. Don’t get me wrong, but I enjoy snuggles of any kind. Hugs are wonderful!!

Changing the World One Card at a Time

This is my motto, and this is why I do what I do. I really believe that we can change the world one card at a time. Happy mail is powerful! My challenge to you is to send the cards that you are making. Don’t hoard them!

If you are intrigued by Paper Pumpkin, you can check it out with this link. Instant gratification is how I would describe it. You get a stamp set, an ink spot (mini ink pad) and all the materials to usually make nine cards. Perhaps you will do what I do. Make the first three cards as shown and then get creative with the leftover supplies!

Video Tutorial

Here is a video tutorial since seeing is believing! If you love my video be sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel!

Thanks!

Thanks for joining me here today, it makes me happy to see the “silent footsteps” you leave behind. You see, I can see how many people have visited my blog, but unless you leave a comment for me, I cannot see that it was YOU! Have a super day and happy stamping. If you wish to purchase the supplies that I used, click here if you live in Europe, or simply click the links below if you are a Canadian. Thanks in advance!

Places in the Heart

Hello stampers and happy Tuesday to you. Today I am sharing a card with you that uses Places in the Heart. It is one of those amazing stamp sets that made me fall in love with Stampin’up! in the first place. The images are just so artistic, and while I can’t draw, I sure do know how to stamp and how to colour. This beautiful card is NOT my own design. I totally cased the work of American demonstrator Sandy Risi. You can find her blog post here.

I love the bright colours in this card and by pure chance, the Tea Boutique cards and envelopes are seriously on sale right now, while supplies last. The other good news is that tomorrow there is FREE shipping for just one day, so make your list and be ready!
