Hello stampers and happy Saturday to you. I am over the moon about the Meandering Meadows paper. The Garden Meadow bundle that goes with it is also pretty awesome, but the paper blows my mind. So, so beautiful. Perhaps you have never heard of it? You can find it in the online exclusive section on the SU website.
In The Moment Meets Meandering Meadows
I was playing with this paper and looking at this particular sheet and it occurred to me that the lady from In The Moment would look great with the fence dies and stamp. She is holding a glass of wine and pondering life, or someone in particular. I think she looks just like me!!
To make this even more special you can “paper piece” the lady. Simply stamp her again on patterned paper and cut out the dress. Stamp the lady on basic white cardstock as well and fussy cut her being sure to remove the railing that she is leaning on. Glue the dress to the lady and then arrange her beside the path and behind the shrubbery and the gate. The base for this card is a large Assorted Memories & More card. That’s it!! The saying is from Thoughtful Expressions.
Saleabration Time!
This is the best time of the year to stock up on stamps. Your best deal is of course the starter kit which will also score you a free glass plate, silicone craft palette and large grey shammy. You can do that here. It’s like getting a Costco membership so you can get your own 20% discount on future purchases as well. You will also be part of a pretty awesome stamping community, including my Beyond Pampered team!!
Of course, if the starter kit doesn’t make your heart skip a beat, I am always happy to have people order from me. With every $60 purchase you can get a free saleabration item.
Video Tutorial
I can’t share the video tutorial for this card because it is exclusive for my YouTube platform members. You can join this membership too if you like! I do have another great video to share with you that shows you how wonderful this paper is. If you want written inspiration, I have made a 17 card tutorial featuring the cards in this video and fifteen more, all using saleabration products as well as the Garden Meadow suite., You can find this tutorial here.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you have a good rest of your weekend! I am off to have a nice hot bath, read my book and go to bed early. Living with the kids and grandkids for a few weeks tires this oma out!! Next Wednesday I fly back to my husband in the Netherlands!! Hugs from Canada, Jackie
Happy Tuesday stampers. Today I am going to share a gorgeous card in shades of blue with vellum embossing. To say that I love this card is an understatement. I used one of my all time favourite stamp sets, In The Moment. Would you like to see it??
Shades of Blue
This card was inspired by the gorgeous Countryside Inn paper which should be available again next week. It has many shades of blue and it reminds me of Delft Blue.

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. This morning I did a very fun Stack and Shuffle technique video. I’ll share the video a little later. What a great way to not only use your pretty patterned paper, but also to create a stack of cards without getting bored. Let’s take a look!
Stack and Shuffle
Now it is a very good thing that is not normal shuffling, because I am a terrible card shuffler. This is quite easy and straightforward. However, if you watch to the end of the video you will see that it CAN go wrong if you try and do it too quickly. No worries, I got it solved after the video ended and I was no longer in a rush.
Here is the graphic that you need for the measurements.
Friendly Hello Stack & Shuffle Cards
Here is a shot of all the Friendly Hello stack and shuffle cards.
In The Moment Stack and Shuffle Cards
I thought I would try this technique with the In The Moment paper as well. Turned out quite nicely I think!
Look how fun they look all together in a little stack!
Individual Cards
Here are some closeups of the individual cards, they look so nice!
I forgot to show you the inside of the cards, that is where you use the 3/4″ strip that you cut off from the 4″ by 6″ piece. Simple but effective. Take the party to the inside!
Video Tutorial
Here is the video tutorial that I did this morning. Please watch it on YouTube as that will really be of benefit to me. If you leave a comment there and share my video, then you have a chance to win a gorgeous Stampin’Up! floral logo mousepad.
Thanks!
That’s it for today, thanks so much for joining me today and thanks in advance for your comments and for sharing my video. I would love to see what you make with this technique. Have a super day.
Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Today I am featuring a great card using Timeless Tiles. This stamp set is a perfect fit with In The Moment. Do you know why??
Timeless Tiles a Perfect Fit
Have you seen the patterned paper that I associate with In The Moment? It is the Heart and Home suite paper. In The Moment is actually on the page before this suite but I think it is a perfect fit! My favourite design from this paper is the one that is misty moonlight and looks like tile. That is why I had to have this Timeless Tiles stamp. Now I won’t run out of this pretty paper.
A Timeless Tiles Story
When I stamped the background for this card I had to trim it down a little to make it fit properly. There was a small strip left over and I of course I saved it. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of basic white and then I adhered the strip under it before cutting it with the die from Ornate Frames Dies.
If you look carefully at the image of the lady holding the wine glass you will see a blue smudge on the top right. I did not stamp this myself, but I did rescue it from my class two weeks ago. This mistake was only an embellishment opportunity. The sentiment will cover this up perfectly don’t you think?
Timeless Tiles Card
Here is the finished card made with a couple of rejected items and turned into a beautiful creation. To see how perfectly this fits with my other In The Moment cards, check out this post.
The saying on this card is from Flowing Flowers. I also stamped the inside with some of these flowers. You see, I had originally wanted to create a card with that set but the technique that I wanted to use needed markers. I have no stampin’ write markers here in Holland, so this card will have to wait another week or so.
The card that I wanted to make was going to be based on the card you see on the top left of this picture. Stay tuned!!
Calming Camelia Draw
Don’t forget that if you place an online order with me using the current host code (always on the right hand side of the home page of my blog) you will be entered into a draw for Calming Camelia. You have a one in six chance of winning! (based one each person placing a $65 order) Thanks for joining me today, I hope you have a super day. Simply click on the links below to shop with me.
Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. How many of you would like to start the day with coffee in the window? The idea of having a cozy window seat with a beautiful view is very inviting. To be able to start the day slowly contemplating life’s blessings and the business of the day, I love that. The card that I am sharing today has a very mellow and introspective feel to it, perfect for a Monday morning!
In the Moment: Coffee in the Window
The idea behind this card is to stamp the image on a subtle patterned paper. I used the paper from the Bloom Where You’re Planted collection. Use your Blends to colour the window. I used Smoky Slate. Stamp the lady on a scrap of shimmery white and colour her as well. I used Misty Moonlight, Soft Sued and Petal Pink ink and a Water Painter. My intent was to have this card coordinate with the cards that I made for my “Day Away With Jackie” class. If you want to participate in this class, you can still order your supplies online from me and I will send you the pdf tutorial for free!! I am going to record some videos showing you how to make these cards and you can access them in a private Facebook group.
The next photo just shows the “fussy cut” woman with the coffee cup. She’s up quite early don’t you think?
This card was totally inspired by Angela Meyer. I just changed up the colours and the patterned paper. Please check out her blog here and see her other fantastic creations at Wild Violets Art.

Hello stampers and happy Friday…actually, almost Happy New Year!! Today I want to show you a way to save your sanity. We can put so much pressure on ourselves to create beautifully stunning and intricate cards. While that can be a fun challenge and very rewarding, this is a gentle reminder to also enjoy easy simplicity once in a while. Yesterday I was feeling overwhelmed and a bit stressed and these simple cards brought me joy and peace.
Save Your Sanity with Some Simple Cards
I have always loved words. Words are very important and convey so much meaning and feeling, so choosing the right ones for your card is a big deal. Especially when the card is simple and the focus is mainly on the words and on the paper you want to make sure that your words are the right font, the right size and the. right thoughts! My cards use In The Moment for the images and Flowering Tulips for the words. The gorgeous paper is Expressions in Ink.
Here is a little video telling you the story of how these cards came about.
My last card is not shown in this picture because I make it at the end of the video. Curious? Be sure to watch AND subscribe. I am aiming for 4100 subscribers and to help make that happen I am doing a draw for the Poinsettia Petals bundle. All you need to do to enter is to subscribe to my channel, comment on your favourite video and share one to social media such as Facebook.
Simple Cards Bring Joy
These cards brought me joy yesterday and today as I see them laying on my desk they are bringing me more joy. I am going to offer a class where we can make these cards. People can choose their own colour scheme and stamps. It will be so much fun to see what they come up with!
Here is a closeup of one of the cards so you can see just how gorgeous this paper is and how well it combines with these stamp sets, In the Moment and Flowering Tulips.
Sometimes cards look a little different seen from another angle, so here they are against the backdrop of our fabulous Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. If you don’t have this beauty yet, January is your month! You can put it in a starter kit and pay no tax or shipping AND get to pick two bonus stamp sets to put into your kit. Perhaps you could choose the two I have used today!! How much fun is that??
Prime Time Group
Did you know that I have a private Facebook group called Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper? Each Wednesday I post the supply list and measurements and on Thursday I do an exclusive video. Once a month there is a prize drawing and each month there is a free 15 project pdf tutorial for this group. It costs only $10 a month to join. If you are interested, just click here.
This is the card we made yesterday, another exercise is simplicity and beauty. Next week will do something a lot more challenging.
More Happy Mail Next Week
Next week I will share some more happy mail in Holland cards including a gorgeous hand painted one from my cousin. I hope that you have a fun celebration today and a very happy and blessed New Year. Thanks for joining me on my stamping journey. I’m so glad you’re here.
