A Stampin’ Up! workshop is an event where participants gather to learn and create various paper crafting projects using Stampin’ Up! products.
Here’s what you can generally expect at a Stampin’ Up! workshop:
Demonstrations
The workshop will typically start with a demonstrator (me!) showcasing different techniques, products, and project ideas. They will provide step-by-step instructions and tips on how to create beautiful handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts.
Hands-on Projects
Participants will have the opportunity to create their own projects during the workshop. The projects may include making greeting cards, gift tags, bookmarks, scrapbook layouts, or home decor items. The workshop will provide all the necessary supplies, including stamps, ink, paper, and embellishments.
Product Showcasing
The demonstrator will highlight the latest Stampin’ Up! products, showcasing new stamp sets, dies, punches, designer series paper, and other crafting supplies. You’ll have the chance to see and experiment with these products, allowing you to make informed decisions about your future purchases.
Tips and Techniques
The demonstrator will share useful tips, tricks, and techniques to enhance your paper crafting skills. They may teach you about various stamping techniques, colouring methods, using different tools, and incorporating different textures and layers into your projects.
Socializing and Networking
Stampin’ Up! workshops provide a social atmosphere where you can meet and connect with other crafters who share your passion for paper crafting. It’s a great opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from fellow enthusiasts, and make new friends.
Ordering Opportunities
Stampin’ Up! workshops often include opportunities to place orders for products showcased during the event. You’ll have the chance to purchase Stampin’ Up! supplies and take advantage of any special offers or promotions available exclusively at the workshop.
Inspirational Ideas
The workshop will provide plenty of inspiration for your future crafting projects. You’ll see various design styles, color combinations, and creative uses of Stampin’ Up! products that can spark your creativity and help you come up with your own unique creations.
Remember that the specific activities and format of a Stampin’ Up! workshop may vary depending on the demonstrator and the event’s theme or focus. However, the overall goal is to have fun, learn new techniques, and create beautiful handmade projects using Stampin’Up! products.
YOU decide how your workshop can be!
My favourite thing is to host a workshop that fits what you want to achieve. For example, if you would like to get an exclusive host stamp set and other products for free, then you will want to invite guests who are coming with the intent of ordering supplies. This is much like a Tupperware party. Based on the total amount of orders, you will get free host products. All guests at the workshop will make two or three projects that you can help me choose based on your tastes and ability.
If you only want a fun night out, we might order kits for you and all your guests. It is also possible to tailor make a set of cards to make and we agree on the price ahead of time. Usually I will offer the class for free if a guest decides to place an order of $50 or more.
In this blog post you will get a general overview of what is usually included in the Stampin Up starter pack. You can start as a Stampin Up demonstrator if you purchase the Stampin Up starter kit. The contents of the starter kit may vary depending on the specific offers and promotions at the time of purchase. Overall, however, the Stampin Up Starter Kit contains a selection of products designed to help you start your own creative projects. Some examples of Stampin’Up! starter kit items you can expect are:
Stamps
A set of rubber or photopolymer stamps with different designs, often themed or seasonal.
Ink Pads
Usually some ink pads in different colours are included, which go well with the stamp designs.
Paper
An assortment of coloured and printed papers suitable for card making, scrapbooking and other craft projects.
Glue and adhesives
Products such as double-sided tape, glue sticks or dimensional stickers for attaching paper and decorative elements.
Basic tools:
Basic tools such as a paper cutter, scissors, pencil, or ruler may be included.
Catalog and Promotional Materials
A case with 8 of the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogs, sometimes also 8 mini catalogs, a package of 50 order forms and invitation post cards are included in your kit.
Please note that Stampin’ Up! regularly updates its offer and introduces new products. Therefore, the exact contents of the starter kit may vary. You get to choose what you put in your kit. The only things not available to put in your starter kit are host sets. It is best to contact a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator or the official website for the most up-to-date information on the Stampin up Starter Kit. The Pampered Stamper works as a demonstrator in Canada and the Netherlands.
Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Bottled Happiness has been sitting neglected on my shelf until this week. Now it has seen ink and I love it so much. I think the best part has been finally using the Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes. Do you want to see what I made?
Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes
My box of vintage bottle shaker domes was tucked away, hidden in a corner of my stamp room! Was I ever happy to find them. I thought for sure I had forgotten them in Canada. Now I can show you how easy they are to use and how pretty and special they make your card.
The vintage bottle shaker domes are super easy to use as they have adhesive strips on both sides of the edges of the bottle. First you remove the top adhesive strip so that it will sit securely in the bottle opening. Then you add your effervescent elements that look like water bubbles. Remove the last adhesive strip and then you can add your backing. Done!!
The Finished Card
I love the soft and soothing feel to this card. It really is perfect to make someone’s day with happy mail, don’t you think? Here is a peek at the inside of the card.
Available on Prime Time
If you would like to see the video of how I made this card then you will need to join my exclusive Prime Time With the Pampered Stamper group. In this group I post an exclusive weekly video every Thursday. On Wednesday I post the supply list and the measurements. Each month you also get a free pdf tutorial bundle worth $15. The best thing is that this group costs only $10 a month. Membership is in three month intervals. Hope to see you there!!
Same Design, Different Cards
Video Tutorial
Seeing how a card is made is always super helpful. Check out my video tutorial on YouTube. I hope that you will consider subscribing to my channel. Please share it with your friends either on Facebook or Pinterest, that really helps me a lot!!
Please Order and Support my June Fundraiser!
Did you know that I am donating ALL of my profits from my sales this month to mental health. A friend of mine volunteers at Hope House in coordination with the Chatham-Kent Mental Health Association. If you cannot order from me, consider sponsoring a kit. These will be donated to Hope House where Sharon runs a monthly crafting club. Thanks so much. TOGETHER we CAN change the world one card (or one kit) at a time. Have a super day.
Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. This is a big week!! On Thursday it is my birthday and I want to celebrate with YOU. To do so I am hosting a Facebook Live party on June 7 as a birthday fundraiser for Mental Health. Everyone is welcome! It will start at 9am EST and every two hour or so I will be go live again to make a couple of cards. I have made a lovely pdf tutorial with all of the cards which you will get as my birthday gift to you if you either sponsor a kit for $25 or place an order through me. All proceeds are going to be donated to Mental Health.
How to Participate in the Birthday Fundraiser
I have made two ways available for you to participate in this fundraiser. Since many of you are Americans or Australians and cannot order through me, I have decided to offer the “sponsor a kit” idea. You simply use PayPal family and friends option to send $25 to my email address [email protected] and then I purchase a kit on your behalf which will be donated to the Chatham-Kent Mental Health Association. I have a contact there who runs a monthly card making event and this will be just perfect for them. Creativity and art therapy have been proven to be very helpful for people dealing with mental health issues.
The second way to participate is to place an online order through me. I have created a list of a few products that I think reflect this cause very well. Feel free to choose from this list or take a look at the product list below which has the supplies that I used for all the cards in my pdf tutorial. Everyone supporting this fundraiser will receive this tutorial for free.
I am hoping that lots of you will join me for the Facebook live party on Wednesday. Together we CAN change the world one card at a time!

Patterned Paper on Sale in June
You may have noticed that I used Countryside Inn paper for all of my cards. I am in love with this paper AND it is on sale for this month along with several others, all for 15% off. Check out the screenshot below!
Stronger Together
Are you feeling inspired to join in on this birthday fundraiser for mental health? I truly hope so, because together we are stronger and can do great things. Mental health issues can be so debilitating, not only for the person suffering, but also for their families as it can be so hard to be able to make a difference. Give the gift of creativity, it really can make a difference. Doing nothing certainly won’t help. Let’s shine light on this darkness and spread hope! Thanks for stopping by today.
