Fantastic Inspiration with Tutorial Bundles

Hello stampers! It’s been a while since I have talked about the fantastic inspiration you can derive from Tutorial Bundles. I am a part of the International Create With Us tutorial bundle team. Each month we create a tutorial with 15 separate projects. Most often it is cards, but every once in a great while it is 3D items like boxes, bags or home decor items. These tutorials are sold for $20US or they are free with a $60 purchase.

Tutorial Bundles

This is the tutorial bundle sneak peek for February. The theme is Fancy Flora.

Our International Create With Us Tutorial Team

We have talented demonstrators from around the world on our team. This means that you get lots of different styles and a broad assortment of projects for each theme. What does this mean for you? It means that you get inspired to really use your stuff. Tutorials help you change from collector to creator! Trust me, it is truly amazing what happens when you make a few cards without having to think. Your own ideas will also start flowing and it will fill you with such a good feeling to have several cards made with one suite.

Where to Find Tutorials?

Sometimes it can be hard to find things on a blog. You can find my tutorials on the top of my blog on the home page under PDF Tutorials. Here is a link to make it even easier.  I also belong to two other Tutorial Bundle teams. One of these teams is called the  Demo Design Dream Team. These tutorials are $15US. The other is called Bundle Bonus Group and they are also $15US. All are free with an online order from me, so that is pretty awesome. You get a free tutorial with each $60 purchase and you can let me know which one you want if you have a preference.

A Beautiful Example!

Would you like to see a beautiful example of one of the cards in our tutorial bundle? This one is from Yvonne Spikmans, a fellow Dutch demonstrator.

This card is by International Create With Us tutorial Bundle team member Yvonne Spikmans.

Personalize Your Watercolour World Cards with Alphabet Dies

Happy Friday stampers! I have a great Watercolour World card that is a great way to end your week. This is a background stamp that is fun to personalize with the À la Carte Alphabet dies. I have seen many people use either a person’s name or Happy BDay but I thought it would be fun to choose numbers for the year.

Watercolour World Card

I love Tahitian Tide combined with Parakeet Party, so that is what I used for this Watercolour World Card. The background stamp was inked up first in Tahitian Tide. I used the Stamparatus so that I could stamp multiple times to get just the right shade. To add both depth and interest, I sponged the edges of the world with Starry Sky. The Stamparatus is perfect for being able to stamp multiple times in the exact same spot to get that shading just right. Have I told you how much I love this tool?

Finishing Touch

The Watercolour World stamp doesn’t need much to finish it off but I thought that this Basics Borders die would be the perfect touch. It provides a nice contrast to the Parakeet Party numbers and coordinates with the inked image. Perfect colour coordination is the nicest feature that Stampin’Up! offers. Don’t you agree?

The last secret ingredient to your success with this card is our adhesive sheets. Just cut off a small part and put it behind the Parakeet Party Cardstock. When you die cut the numbers you have instant stickers! This is much easier than adding liquid adhesive to these skinny numbers. Be sure to get them before saleabration ends! You may as well get some free products with your purchase. Click here to see your options!

Sweet Citrus: A Fresh Foretaste of Spring!

Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Sweet Citrus is just such a fun bundle to work with. Did you know that it has a hybrid embossing folder? That means that it can cut and emboss at the same time. It’s even more special than that! You can also stamp your image first, then cut and emboss at the same time for incredible results. I had SO much fun playing with this Sweet Citrus bundle.

How to Pay and Register

This is the part that I am not yet so good at. The best way for a demonstrator to accept payment for classes is via etransfer because no fees are deducted the way they are for PayPal. If you are interested in one of these classes please message me at [email protected], this is also where you can etransfer me if you want to sign up for one of my classes.

This event is taking place on Wednesday March 29 at Grace Christian Reformed Church at 255 Tweedsmuir Ave West. Classes are at 10am, 2pm and 7pm. All you need to do is bring your own adhesive kit and scissors. I really hope that you can join us. Please share this blog post with your friends because we want to make this an epic event! COVID has really sucked the life out of social events and it is high time to reclaim the stamping fun and fellowship that we have missed.

Garden Birdhouses with Blends

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Today I have some fabulous Garden Birdhouse cards with Blends. Blends always make me happy because they just colour beautifully. Trust me, even people who dislike colouring fall in love with our Blends. The colour just goes on so smoothly with such rich depths and they really do blend so beautifully. I’ve combined the Garden Birdhouses stamp with the free saleabration set Beautifully Happy. Someone in the stamping world combined those two stamps and I was very impressed with the result.

A Little Tip for the Crumb Cake Garden Birdhouses Cards

If you look carefully at the Crumb Cake cards, you will see some white on the garden birdhouses. I used our Chalk Marker on them and afterwards I was super disappointed to find that they are no longer in our offering. Thankfully you can get this look another way. Simply use your Blender Pen with some white craft ink. I keep one Blender Pen just for use with white craft ink. The white on Crumb Cake is such a soft look for a gender neutral baby card.
