Hello stampers and happy Saturday to you. Today I am going to show you how you can change your exploring in color cards with these great dies! Which dies? Why, the Deckled Rectangle dies. They are so vintage looking and not only are they great for this card technique, they are also fantastic for scrapbooking. With the deckled edge, they are reminiscent of a by-gone age. Do you remember old photos and postcards with this deckled edge? Let’s take a look.
Exploring In Color Cards with Deckled Rectangle Dies
To make these fun cards, I first cut the card in half. Then I used the third largest die to cut out the centre of the card front and the second largest die to cut out a piece from the back of the card. Layer these two over top of each other and put on the card front, trim it a little and layer on to your desired card front.
You can use either the bicycle die from Fun on Wheels or an image from Beside Me that has been coloured with In Color blends and then fussy cut with paper snips. Which one is your favourite?
Falling in love with In Colors
Colouring these images with the in color blends that coordinate with the cards has made me really fall in love with them. I used Pebbled Path, Bojo Blue, Wild Wheat, and Copper Clay. The only colours that were not “in colors” were Night of Navy, Mossy Meadow and the Medium and Medium Light blends. Have you been inspired to add these colours to your Blends collection?

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Today I am sharing a really lovely card that features a stunning fold with just one die!! This card looks so complicated but it really isn’t! That’s my favourite kind.
Why Grassy Grove?
I was checking the Inventory Status report to help me decide which suite to feature for August and I realized that all the suites that I wanted to use are backordered. Then I saw the beautiful Grassy Grove on my shelf and thought I would show it some love. It has long been a favourite of mine, and I just recently was able to purchase some New Horizons paper that coordinates with this suite perfectly. Take a look at the photo.
That’s right. If you don’t have this stamp set and dies yet, I will send you ten sheets of the beautiful New Horizons paper for free. Then you will be able to make this stunning card too.
Weekly Cheer Corner Video
Did you miss my weekly Monday Cheer Corner video? Every Monday at 10am EST I go live on my Facebook page to make a Cheer Corner card. You can nominate someone to receive this card; anyone who needs a little cheer. Together we CAN change the world one card at a time. Click below to watch the video tutorial. Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Today I have a fresh and vibrant card for you using Glorious Gingham paper. Gingham is always great for spring and summer and I really do love the combination of Lemon Lime Twist with Orchid Oasis, don’t you? Once again, you will see that I have pulled out the Nested Essentials dies. Did you know that these dies include three different shapes in four different sizes?

More Glorious Gingham Inspiration
Here are a few favourite finds of mine from other demonstrators who have used Glorious Gingham in their creations. Which one is your favourite?
This one is by Terri Lynn Bright and you can check out her blog post here.
This Brewed for You fun fold card is by Kathi Ondus, and you can check out her blog post here.
This card is by Mary Brown and you can find her blog post here. I love how she used the die from the So Refreshing Bundle to make the gingham blanket.

Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Today I have another great card using the Masterfully Made designer series paper from Stampin’Up! When the paper packs such a punch, you don’t need much to make a stunning card. I used the dies from Timeless Arrangements to make a beautiful focal point. There is one thing that I did with this card that might surprise you!! Read on.
What’s Different?
If you look closely at my sentiment, you might see something different. I will include a closeup photo, maybe that will help!
Instead of stamping my sentiment on regular white cardstock, I stepped it up a notch and added a foam adhesive sheet. This makes the stitching from the die more prominent, it right away pops the whole thing up AND it now has a “sticker” back so that all the die cuts can be quickly and simply adhered. You can watch the card making tutorial on my YouTube channel. I will add it here too. Have you subscribed yet??

Hello stampers. Do you have any gamers in your life? This card would be great for any gamer!! I know very little about gaming, so I had to look up which colours I had to use to colour the controller!! This card was actually made for my daughter Rachel’s graduation from university! Isn’t that fun? Sometimes it is good to think outside the box. What would you use this stamp set for?
Rachel graduated after having to undergo more than two years of online courses due to COVID so the sayings in this set were particularly apt. If you want to see how I made the card, watch the video tutorial below. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Video Tutorial for Gamer Card
Think Outside the Box
I was quite happy that I decided to use this set for a graduation card. You really don’t need a “graduation” stamp set per se to make a graduation card. Just personalize your card to suit your recipient! Of course this set would also be great for birthday cards and other achievements. It was also very liberating to choose a black and white colour scheme. The sparkle from the More Dazzle paper keeps this card from being boring. Don’t you think it is a great card for gamers?
Do you have any gamers in your life that would be thrilled with a card like this? Perhaps you have a few who would be tickled to make their own cards or birthday invitations with this set. Have fun stamping!! It’s great to find things to do together as a family, and stamping and papercrafting might be just the thing for you.
Questions?
As your Stampin’Up! demonstrator, it is my job to answer your stamping questions and help you make the best choices for your hobby. Stamp sets are not cheap, so you want to choose the ones that will bring you the greatest joy and use.
Thanks for joining me today, I hope you have a super day. Happy stamping!!
Hello stampers and happy Monday to you! Today I am sharing some Timeless Arrangements cards with you. I adore this bundle because it makes it SO easy to make “timeless arrangements”. The name of this stamp set is so fitting, because the cleverly designed dies make it so easy to make beautiful arrangements that are indeed “timeless”. They can be used for any occasion, at any time of the year. Let’s take a look!
Timeless Arrangements Cards
Truth be told, I went a little bit crazy when I started creating with this bundle. Not all the cards fit the colour scheme, but I think you will agree that they are pretty special!
Try something new! Click on the photo above and see what happens. If I did it right, and you live in Canada, then you should be “in” my webshop with all the products listed that I used for these cards. Let me know if it works!!
Great Deal in July!
Summer is often a slow month for stamping sales and I really, really want to earn the Mexico incentive trip, mostly for Gerard because he loves to scuba dive and hasn’t done it for years, but also because it is the hallmark for knowing that you are running your business well. I very much appreciate every order that comes my way!! Timeless Arrangements is my deal for July and you get 20% cash back of the catalog price if you order through me. If you would rather get a different incentive, you can also choose a package of embellishments sent to you in a pretty card, or a mystery box from my stash!!
More Inspiration
This is a monochromatic card that I made showing how versatile this bundle is.
Here is another favourite which was inspired by Amy Cook.
