Peaceful Prints for Free!

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Did you know that you can get the gorgeous Peaceful Prints Paper for free? This paper is part of the summer saleabration campaign. Perhaps you have been so busy recovering from COVID stress and concerned about a possible fourth wave that stamping has taken a backseat in your life.No worries! There is so much exciting stuff waiting for you and it is not too late to take advantage of saleabration. It goes until September 30. Here is the link to all the saleabration offerings.

Peaceful Prints Paper

This beautiful paper is free with a $60 purchase and with that purchase you are also entitled to the huge tutorial bundle that this card is a part of. What I especially love about this paper is that it coordinated with our Peaceful Deer Bundle on page 26 of the holiday catalog. The Peaceful Prints paper has Garden Green, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand and Basic Black in its designs. You can punch the buffalo plaid deer out with the punch and in my YouTube video I show you how you can punch them out in BOTH directions which is a super cool trick. Check it out below.

Peaceful Prints Fancy Fold Card

I’m so happy that I decided to go back and check on my previous blog posts because I thought I had already blogged about this card. I love it so much!! This paper is stunning and I don’t want you to miss out on it. I am not going to share how I made the card because that information is all in the tutorial that you can get for free with a $60 purchase. You can also purchase it for $20 US if that suits you better. This particular tutorial focuses on the saleabration and holiday catalog so there is lots of variety for you and of course tons of talent!

A Hidden Gem

Do you see that gorgeous focal point? That buffalo plaid deer really stands out on that lacy white circle doesn’t it? Do you know where it comes from? Let me tell you! Check out page 70 and page 159 in the annual catalog. Encircled in Beauty is the name of the dies and the bundle is called Encircled in Friendship. Wait. It gets better! There is another stamp set in the holiday catalog that also coordinates with these dies making it an even better investment. That stamp set is called Encircled in Warmth. All the links to these products will be at the bottom of my blog post, you can simply click on them and then shop in my online store. How excited are you??

One More Photo

Have you noticed when you look at a pretty card that someone has either given you or is sharing with you so that you can be inspired that you look at it closely? I know that I like to check it out from different angles so that I can see all the details.  A blog post can be that way too and I like to share a card from different angles and perspectives. Sometimes due to time constraints this is not possible, but when it is, it does make me happy to do so.

Peaceful Prints card

Don’t you love how the black and white twine from the Playful Pets Combo trim pack looks with this paper? It made me super happy too. I hope you enjoyed my card today and that you feel inspired to make one of your own. It’s always nice to have a few fancy Christmas cards made ahead of time for the special people in your life. Who are you going to send yours to?

Sharing the Joy

I have decided to start beginner card classes in the Netherlands. It’s time to share my joy of stamping with new stampers and I intend to share that journey with you as well in the hopes that you too with share your hobby with new people. Often I remind my team to consider how happy they are when they are stamping. More people could use that type of joy in their lives. I know that before I started stamping I had no idea that papercrafting would be something that I would enjoy and excel at. You just never know how something simple like stamps, ink and paper can change a life.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you jump on the saleabration bandwagon before it is too late. Happy stamping and happy shopping. If you need inspiration, check out my tutorials here and indulge. You deserve it.

Feels Like Home: A Saleabration Freebie!

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. I am almost burning the midnight oil tonight. I was debating with whether or not to write a blog post and you can see what I have decided! Feels Like Home is a saleabration freebie that I love. The image is so lovely an it really does feel like home. The sayings are in a beautiful font and are ever so meaningful. I made these cards for my Blends Class on Monday.

Feel Like Home Tips and Tricks

While creating the cards I noticed a beautiful little image in the stamp set that I had at first overlooked. It is a small pot of tulips. I was curious what this would look like as a design element in my cards. Would this pot make a big difference? Let’s take a look.

Feels Like Home

There is one more thing I want to share with you. If you ink up your Brick & Mortar embossing folder before putting your cardstock in and running it through the Cut & Emboss machine, you will get a wonderfully detailed impression. Then use your sponge dauber to rub on a little white craft ink. Wow!!

Feels Like Home

Feels Like Home Cards for Blends Class

When I saw the Feels Like Home stamp set I knew it would be perfect for a Blends class. Do you know why? If you purchase five sets of Blends (yes, there are five new colours in the annual catalog!) you get the Feels Like Home stamp set for FREE!! My customers also get to make these cards for free. If you purchase Blends online through my store by clicking the links below, I will send you the card kit as well.

Feels Like Home

If you order through me you will get a Demo Design Dream Team tutorial for FREE, an the tutorial to make this card is in there as well. Thanks Lori Longwell for the inspiration!

Feels Like Home

Special thanks to Mary Knabe for the inspiration for this card. Now, tell me, what do you think? Does the little pot of tulips make a difference? I think they really do.

That’s It!!

That’s it for today, I hope you like what I shared. Next week I will have more stories to share, and in the fall I will get back to blogging more often. Gerard comes on Tuesday!!! Guess who is over the moon excited?

Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy stamping and be sure to take advantage of the wonderful saleabration offerings. You should also check out my vastly improved tutorial section!!

Saleabration Starts Today!!

Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Finally a blog post from me. I had to stay away from my desk for a while because sitting and typing was the worst thing for my back. Thankfully I am feeling much better and ready to get back in the groove. Just in time, because our first summer saleabration is here!!

Saleabration in the Summer!!

Who would have thought that we would have a saleabration sale in the summer? Rather than having a three month long saleabration in the winter, Stampin’Up! decided to change it up to two two month saleabration events and I am curious as to how you will like it. There are lots of great items for you to be able to get for free but I would encourage you to order as soon as possible as there are predictions that some saleabration items will run out quickly, especially the Counting Sheep set and the Be Dazzling specialty paper. I did a virtual tour of both catalogs yesterday, you can see it here.

My First Saleabration Card

This is the first card that I made using saleabration products and it is also going to be the card that I make for our Fab Four event in September. You can sign up for that if you like. The cost is $25 and  four demonstrators will teach a card. The videos will be posted in a private Facebook group and we will send you your card kit. You can then make your cards at your own pace and then join us for a Zoom gathering where we will do the door prizes and show some other things we have made with the products we used for our card so that you have some more inspiration. Here is the link to the event.

Be Dazzled

The Be Dazzling paper is so sparkly it reminds me of a dress that the stars would wear to the Oscars! Here is a closeup. Just know that the card is so much better in person. One of my customers dropped by this morning to pick up a card kit and she saw the card and said, wow, it looks way better than in the picture I saw online yesterday.

Sparkling Be Dazzled Paper

Looking for Inspiration?

Would you like to know a great trick to finding inspiration for your stamp sets or ones that you are thinking of getting? For example, let’s say you are not sure if the Counting Sheep set would be a good saleabration choice. Then go to Google and do a search. Type in “Counting Sheep Stampin’Up!” and then click on images and you will see all the projects made with this set. Brilliant!!

BOGO Sale

I have jumped on the bandwagon and have created my first ever “buy one get one free” sale. This is how it works. You request permission to join the group. Then you read the “about” section to understand the system. After that you click on “media” and you will see albums. Each album has a price. That is the value of all the items in this album. For example there is an album for stamp and die bundles for $50. In order to get one of these bundles for free you need to spend $50 in my online store before shipping and taxes.

Now is a great time to take advantage of the BOGO sale. You will get a free saleabration item with a $60 purchase, you will get a FREE pdf tutorial and you get $60 in free product from my BOGO sale. Here is the link so you can check it out.

Free Tutorial With Purchase

Did you know that you can choose which pdf tutorial you get for free with your purchase? It can be the Artistically Inked Tutorial from the Create with Us International Tutorial group or it can be the Saleabration tutorial from the Demo Design Dream Team. Either are free with a $60 purchase.

Thanks!

Thanks for joining me today. I am hoping that blogging once a week is okay for now. Perhaps when I am back in Holland I will have time to blog three times a week again. Just know that I appreciate you being here. Have a super day and I would be honoured if you live in Canada and choose to shop with me. The links to my store are listed below.

Paper, Ribbon and Ink

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Paper, ribbon and ink. It really is amazing what you can do when you combine some coordinating paper, ribbon and ink. I like it even better when the combination is a surprising one. Today we will see when we combine some Flowers for Every Season Memories & More cards and envelopes with in colour inks and ribbon AND the beautiful Flower & Field designer series paper that is free with a $60 saleabration purchase.

Paper, Ribbon and Ink

Did you notice that I didn’t mention cardstock? That’s right. No cardstock needed because the Memories & More cards are already the perfect card base for you. This is instant gratification at its best. Just cut your Field & Flower paper to 3″ by 4″ and mix and match them how you like. Huge thanks to Michele Jutrisa for her inspiration for these cards. You can see her blog post here.

For the sentiment I used the new double oval punch, the hostess set Punch Party and the everyday label punch. The oval punches were layered over top of a vellum everyday label punched out. A loop of in colour ribbon was adhered under the vellum and popped up with dimensionals.

Paper, Ribbon and Ink

Here are a few closeups so you can see the detail in the punches. They are very unforgiving!! You can see the little ink smears but do keep in mind that I made these cards during a Facebook live with a camera between me and my work! They still look great I think.

Paper, Ink and Ribbon

For the last two I used the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch which also coordinates with the Punch Party stamp set. This stamp set is free when you have a $375 workshop or order. Here is another favourite of mine using the Flower & Field paper.

Field & Flower Card Kit by Mail

I forgot to add in here that you can get a five card kit by mail in Canada for only $15 including postage. Let me know if you want one!

Parcels in the Post

My next Parcel in the Post is ready. There are still two left over from January which featured the Love You Always suite. This month the theme is Art Gallery. The parcels are $32 which includes shipping anywhere in Canada. They contain an assortment of products that will save you money and jump start your creativity. The pictures tell the story!

Parcels in the Post

Here is the photo of the January/February Parcel in the Post, there are two left of this one.

Parcels in the Post

My preferred payment for the Parcels in the Post is etransfer to jackiebultje@gmail.com. If that doesn’t work for you, message me and we will figure something out.

Thanks!

You may have noticed that there was no blog post on Wednesday. I spent a couple of days with my parents again and they are my priority then. I did get some stamping time in with my mom and it is gratifying how much she loves it. She made some cards for the grandkids and great grandkids as well as some cute boxes with the Paper Pumpkin addon. The snails were right up her alley. “Deze slakjes zijn zo leuk” is what she said. Translation:  those snails are so cute!

Paper Pumpkin

If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin I am going to make a shocking suggestion. Stop or suspend your subscription. You can choose to skip a few months if you like.  Then you can purchase a three month prepaid subscription and get a free saleabration item, the Flower and Field paper or the Darling Donkeys set. After the three months are up you can resume your subscription. Anyways, I digress. I was trying to say thank you for joining me today. I hope you have a super day!

Heal Your Heart Arrow Fold Card

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Today’s card is a Heal Your Heart Arrow Fold card. Heal Your Heart is a beautiful stamp set that you can get for free during saleabration which only goes until February 28. Both the sayings and the font of this set are really lovely. The arrow fold card is also surprisingly easy to make and ever so rewarding. Let’s take a look.

Arrow Fold Card

I made an arrow fold card twice. Do you know why? The first time, and the second time if I am being honest, I cut the paper the wrong way!! I am sometimes spatially challenged and the paper I was using was definitely one-directional so yes, I was in a bit of trouble. However, the other side of the paper was a very forgiving polka dot so all was well in the end. Both cards are quite lovely I think. One will go to someone going through a rough patch and the other one will go to my newest team member.

Thanks to Karen Duke for inspiring me to make this card. It caught my eye when Genevieve Ko shared it on Facebook. She had received it from Karen in a card swap.

Arrow Fold Tutorial

I am planning to do a video tutorial on this arrow fold card in my Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper group. Have you heard about this group? Would you like to join and get some great perks? Then read about it here and hopefully you will join me this Thursday at 3pm EST. Each Wednesday I post the list of supplies and the measurements of the card that I will be making on Thursday.

Would you like to see more cards made with the Flower & Field paper? Check out this blog post here.

Do You Live in Canada?

If you live in Canada, you could join us for our Fab Four event on February 26 at 7pm EST. Four demonstrators will join together to make four different cards using saleabration products. For only $25 you will get your kit mailed to you anywhere in Canada. The video tutorials will be posted in the event group on Facebook and there will be a live Zoom gathering to do the door prizes and just chat about the cards and saleabration. Here is the link to the event.

Have You Placed Your Saleabration Order Yet?

I have noticed that some people are missing out on some free products, so I thought I would share a few important facts that I perhaps take for granted.

  1. You get a free saleabration product from the small saleabration brochure with EACH $60 purchase. There are two items that are free with a $120 purchase. A Touch of Ink and Berry Blessings are the “level 2” free items.
  2. If you spend $120 you get TWO free items OR one level two item. My advice is that if you are at $110 you may as well get a package of cardstock or a Stampin’ Seal adhesive which you will probably need in a few weeks anyway. Maximize your freebies!
  3. If you spend $200 you qualify for host rewards. You can use those rewards on exclusive host products found at the back of the catalog starting at page 187.
  4. During saleabration which ends on February 28 you can also get a free stamp set called Punch Party with a $375 order.
  5. The best deal in the catalog is always the starter kit. You do NOT have to sell or demonstrate to get this kit. It entitles you to a 20% discount on your future purchases. This discount will be yours until the end of July regardless of how little you spend. You have everything to gain and absolutely nothing to lose. Here is the link if you want this amazing deal. You must be a Canadian citizen to do so.

Thanks!

Thanks for joining me today. I hope that you are keeping well. I think there might be light at the end of this COVID tunnel. Stamping has definitely kept me sane. Have a super day and stay warm. I woke up to -15C temperatures today!

Paper Blooms and Art Gallery

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Today I am sharing some cards using Paper Blooms and the die from Art Gallery. It is already evening and Rachel is cooking supper. Good smells are coming from the kitchen and it is dark outside. I am hopefully going to squeeze in a blog post before she has supper ready!

Paper Blooms

This beautiful designer series paper is free with a $60 saleabration purchase. What does that mean exactly? Purchase any Stampin’Up! products from either the annual or Occasions catalog worth $60 before shipping and tax and you get this paper for free if that is your choice. There are other saleabration freebies to choose from as well. I paired the paper with the “Just Wanted to Say” die from Art Gallery. Here it is:

Paper Blooms

This slimline card fits into a business envelope and measures 4″ by 9″. Each patterned paper piece measures 2″ by 3″. I love how all the different patterns combine for such a pleasing effect. The die from Art Gallery cuts out the words that you can space out just how you want.

Art Gallery and Gold Leafing

The second card uses the Art Gallery die and the coordinating paper from this gorgeous suite. The icing on the cake is the Gold Leafing. This product is so much fun to use and it will make you feel like a real artist. I did a video on it here.

Art Gallery and Gold Leafing

Do you notice the letters on this card? I used our adhesive foam sheets to give the letters dimension. Simply put the cardstock on the adhesive foam sheet and then run it through the die cutting machine with the “just wanted to say” die.

How to use Gold Leafing

Basically there are two ways to use gold leafing. You can either emboss your image that has been stamped in versamark with Heat and Stick powder. As soon as this has melted pour on the gold leafing and pat it down either with your fingers or our sponging brushes. Be sure not to heat your heat and stick powder too much or it will lose its stickiness!

The other way is to simply use two sided tape like our Tear’n’Tape. Press the gold leafing onto the tape and it looks just divine. This is easiest if you do this is a container big enough to hold your card and to move your hands around in. It should also have a lid so you can keep your gold leafing stored in there. It is as light as air and will dissipate without a lid.

New Tutorial!

I would just like to draw your attention to the fact that I have a new tutorial for sale. This one features the Lots of Heart bundle and uses the products from my Love You Always Parcels in the Post. Tutorials are instant gratification but they also give added value to your stamping purchase because you will get a lot more use from them with the help of a step by step tutorial.

Thanks!

Thanks so much for joining me today, it’s always nice to see your electronic footprints here. I cannot see exactly who has come unless you leave a comment but I can see how many and even which country you are from. I love how this hobby draws people from all countries and all ages.

Leave a comment today letting me know when the last time was that you sent happy mail and you might get some happy mail from me! Have a super day and happy stamping.
