by Jackie Bultje | Feb 5, 2021 | Art Gallery, Paper Blooms, saleabration, slimline cards |
Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Today I am sharing some cards using Paper Blooms and the die from Art Gallery. It is already evening and Rachel is cooking supper. Good smells are coming from the kitchen and it is dark outside. I am hopefully going to squeeze in a blog post before she has supper ready!
Paper Blooms
This beautiful designer series paper is free with a $60 saleabration purchase. What does that mean exactly? Purchase any Stampin’Up! products from either the annual or Occasions catalog worth $60 before shipping and tax and you get this paper for free if that is your choice. There are other saleabration freebies to choose from as well. I paired the paper with the “Just Wanted to Say” die from Art Gallery. Here it is:

This slimline card fits into a business envelope and measures 4″ by 9″. Each patterned paper piece measures 2″ by 3″. I love how all the different patterns combine for such a pleasing effect. The die from Art Gallery cuts out the words that you can space out just how you want.
Art Gallery and Gold Leafing
The second card uses the Art Gallery die and the coordinating paper from this gorgeous suite. The icing on the cake is the Gold Leafing. This product is so much fun to use and it will make you feel like a real artist. I did a video on it here.

Do you notice the letters on this card? I used our adhesive foam sheets to give the letters dimension. Simply put the cardstock on the adhesive foam sheet and then run it through the die cutting machine with the “just wanted to say” die.
How to use Gold Leafing
Basically there are two ways to use gold leafing. You can either emboss your image that has been stamped in versamark with Heat and Stick powder. As soon as this has melted pour on the gold leafing and pat it down either with your fingers or our sponging brushes. Be sure not to heat your heat and stick powder too much or it will lose its stickiness!
The other way is to simply use two sided tape like our Tear’n’Tape. Press the gold leafing onto the tape and it looks just divine. This is easiest if you do this is a container big enough to hold your card and to move your hands around in. It should also have a lid so you can keep your gold leafing stored in there. It is as light as air and will dissipate without a lid.
New Tutorial!
I would just like to draw your attention to the fact that I have a new tutorial for sale. This one features the Lots of Heart bundle and uses the products from my Love You Always Parcels in the Post. Tutorials are instant gratification but they also give added value to your stamping purchase because you will get a lot more use from them with the help of a step by step tutorial.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for joining me today, it’s always nice to see your electronic footprints here. I cannot see exactly who has come unless you leave a comment but I can see how many and even which country you are from. I love how this hobby draws people from all countries and all ages.
Leave a comment today letting me know when the last time was that you sent happy mail and you might get some happy mail from me! Have a super day and happy stamping.

by Jackie Bultje | Feb 3, 2021 | Flower and Field, sale-a-bration, saleabration |
Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Today was a very different day with no work and just family time. The only stamping that I did was with grandchildren. How wonderful to see them excited about the stamparatus! My cards today all feature the beautiful Flower and Field designer series paper. The idea of the design was not my own, it came from Karen Henderson. Here is the link to Karen’s blog. I found this card striking because of the contrast between the beautiful Flower and Field paper and the coordinating cardstock. Let’s take a look!
Flower and Field Cards
I fell in love with this card because it was perfect for our Fab Four virtual card making event. For a virtual event you cannot include stamped images in the card kit so that makes it tough. There is no way of knowing which stamp sets people may have so you have to keep the actual stamping to a minimum. This card is perfect for that. I purposely chose dies or punches that would fit a variety of sentiments. What do you think?

In the last photo you can see the same card layout but using three different patterns from the Flower and Field collection. Our “Fab Four” event was our most popular “in person” event before COVID took over the world. The one bonus about this is that YOU can now join us for this fun event from anywhere in Canada.
Time is going fast though, you need to sign up by February 12 to ensure that you get your card making package in time. We will have a private Facebook group with four card tutorial videos and then on February 26 at 7pm we will have a Zoom meeting to do the door prizes and just have a “meet and greet”. Cost is only $25. If you are interested you can see the event here on Facebook.
Shopping Online
Did you know that if you shop online with me using the host code that you get a bonus product each month? For the month of February you can choose either a package of resin hearts or elegant faceted gems. You can see what they look like in the product list at the end of the blog. If you DO want to shop online it is super easy, just click on the links below and you will be directed to my online store. Now if it’s your first time you will need to create an account.
If this whole idea makes you nauseous then message me and I can place your order online for you and have it shipped straight to your house. I’m here to help you! The host code is always found on my home page on the right hand side. Customers also get a free 16 project tutorial emailed to them as a thank you.
Thanks for joining me today and have a super day!

by Jackie Bultje | Feb 1, 2021 | Kangaroo & Company, Paper Pumpkin, Valentine's |
Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Do you ever fall in love with a stamp set? Kangaroo & Company just might make you fall in love. Sometimes stamps just evoke such strong feelings, and this is one of them. The mama kangaroo will just make you smile when you stamp and colour her and the little joey will give you the warm and fuzzies. Then, when you put them all together with the stamped and die cut accessories you might just feel like a little girl playing with paper dolls agai.
Kangaroo & Company Options
When I was showing this bundle in a video I had stamped some kangaroos showing the reverse stamping technique so I now have a nice little collection to show you.

My team member Kylee sent me a photo showing what she had done and I love it. You can put more than one item in the kangaroo pouch! Simple but genius and it looks ever so cute. Thanks Kylee!

Adorable Accessories
I think the best part about this Kangaroo & Company bundle is the dies that cut everything out. The kangaroo die also cuts a slit in the pouch to make it super easy to tuck the accessories in. There are dies for the joey, flowers, present, hearts, sentiments and a sitting joey too. I haven’t made a card with it yet but I did make two adorable boxes. I did find some adorable samples from the Stampin’Up! catalog which as you might already know is a fantastic idea book!

My Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes
If you follow me you may know that I am on a mission to create more boxes. These are not made “from scratch” but I love the sturdiness of the mini paper pumpkin boxes that are also food safe. Did I mention that they are also a pretty good deal?

One Last Find
On my Stampin’Up! business website I found another card sample and what intrigued me about this one is the paper in the background. It comes from the Flowering Cactus product medley that I was talking about on Friday. How coincidental is that?

Some Points to Ponder
That’s it for today but I wanted to remind you to tune in to my YouTube channel every Tuesday at 10am for my virtual coffee and a card class. Of course you can also purchase the monthly kit to stamp along with me, but you can also just watch along for fun and be inspired. Today is February 1 so there are only four weeks left of saleabration. It really is quite wonderful to get a free stamp set or package of paper with every $60 purchase. Questions? Message me!
There is still room in my online Bingo for March 10. Read all about it here.

by Jackie Bultje | Jan 29, 2021 | Flowering Cactus Product Medley, virtual coffee and a card |
Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Flowering Cactus is a stunning product medley that includes a stamp set, dies, two spools of linen thread and beautiful paper including images of cacti that can be cut with the dies. I love this unique medley and have based my February Virtual Coffee and a Card class around it. Here are the cards we will be making in this class.
Flowering Cactus for Virtual Coffee and a Card Class
Flowering Cactus has a nostalgic feel for me because when I was growing up, my mom had quite a collection of cacti. Some of these were an assortment in a square flat pot and nestled in among the cacti were those little animal figurines that came in the Red Rose tea boxes. Does anyone remember those? It was always a bit of a treasure hunt to see which figurine you would get! If you remember these you will find this article fascinating! I wonder if my mom still has her little figurines? I am going to ask her today!

How It Works?
Do you like the idea of playing along with me when I made a card each week for my Virtual Coffee and a Card? You can! For $25 I will mail you a packet anywhere in Canada. Every Tuesday at 10am I will be live on YouTube and I share the video to Facebook as well. It gets even better! If you order the Flowering Cactus medley through me online with the host code you can get the package for only $10!
If you subscribe to my YouTube channel then you will get a notification whenever I go live or when I upload a new video. It really is quite helpful and if you end up finding it annoying, then you can simply unsubscribe. Just click here to be directed to my channel.

Don’t Wait!
I put a rush order in to get more supplies for my kits. Truthfully I am a week or two behind with getting these kits out but you know the reason why. Yup. He’s a super cute guy with a mop of grey hair and huge ears! Pap is worth it wouldn’t you say?

This picture was taken when Pap was just home from the hospital after his heart attack. I was amazed to see how much pepper was in his salt and pepper beard! And no, I don’t have a black eye. This photo just really shows my vitilago which is an autoimmune disease that causes loss of pigment in the skin. I inherited this from my father’s side of the family as well.
Back to the point. Please order your kits as soon as possible. I have 11 spots available and do not plan on ordering more supplies. The reason for this is efficiency. It makes the most economical sense to do all your prepping in one go. To keep returning to the same task in small bits is inefficient. I hope you can join this month!

Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper
