Birds & Branches Baby Card

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. I’m taking a break from fall cards and sharing with you a beautiful Birds and Branches Baby Card. My talented team member Alison Reid made this card for me as well. What a blessing it is to have stamping family. That is really what happens when you have such a great team. I am so thankful for my team!

Birds & Branches Baby Card

I want to tell you a secret. Did you know that I used to have a love/hate affair with dies? Little dies especially infuriated me because they were easy to lose but more significantly, they skittered around on the magnetic platform and also didn’t stay put on the regular platform.

Meet the new magnetic plate! What a dream!! You can actually save time and cut out many dies at the same time with no skittering. No washi tape needed for insurance to keep them in place. What a game changer.

This pretty baby card uses four different dies and you can cut them all out at once. I love the colour palette of petal pink, crumb cake, soft suede and balmy blue. Add a touch of early espresso for the bird and the branches and you have a stunning card.

More Birds & Branches

If you want to see some more cards created with the Birds & Branches bundle, you can check out this blog post from a few months ago.

Product Coordination

I fell in love with Stampin’Up! because they make it so easy to make beautiful things. Everything coordinates! No need to search for the right colour ribbon or patterned paper. Petal pink is the colour of the ink, the cardstock and the ribbon. The result? A stunning card. Nothing is “off”. It feels just right and that is wonderful when you are making something. It minimizes the frustration and maximizes the joy. See the product list below for all the great things used on this card.

If you live in Canada, you can shop online with me no matter where you live! I love that so much, especially during COVID. Deliveries to your door means not having to wear a mask. It’s the little things that can bring great joy.

Thanks!

Thanks again for joining me today. This week I only blogged twice as Wednesday was an “Oma” day. I realize that time with my family is precious and sometimes stamping and blogging has to take a back seat. I know you understand! Did you know that if you place an order with me, if you join my team or my training group OR Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper, you get a free monthly pdf? Here is a sneak peek of the October pdf. There are lots of great fall projects in there. Happy stamping and have a super day.

My team member Alison Reid made these two cards for me. Truthfully, I didn’t think I needed this stamp set, but after seeing Alison’s card I have changed my mind!

Life is Beautiful in red

I love the pop of red in this card. Wouldn’t this cheer you up on a winter day? It’s even great for Valentine’s Day for someone who doesn’t like anything too mushy.

I love this card too! It was cased from Amy Koenders and you can see her original card here complete with instructions of how to make it as well as the card sketch she used.

Gilded Autumn Wish For Everything

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you! Today I am sharing a fun card with you:  Gilded Autumn Wish For Everything. Why the long name? Well, the paper is called Gilded Autumn and the stamp set is A Wish for Everything. This card is a result of a card sketch challenge which I will share the sketch so you can play along too if you want!

Gilded Autumn

Gilded Autumn is the name of the beautiful paper in the suite with the same name. This paper is so, so beautiful with its earth tones and a pop of gold and copper foil on some of the paper.

Gilded Autumn

Here you can see this pretty paper used on some great projects in the Holiday Catalog.

A Wish For Everything Thanksgiving Card

A Wish For Everything is a huge stamp set that covers almost every occasion. It comes with coordinating dies as well and it a very popular choice to put in your starter kit. Did you know that you pay no shipping or tax when you get the starter kit? The dies are called Word Wishes and are found on page 183 of the annual catalog. Here is my card.

Wish For Everything

Not only is the paper in this suite gorgeous, so are the accessories! In this next picture you will get a good look at the pretty acorn trinkets. You can also see that I layered the Thanksgiving die cut with pool party and early espresso to create a shadow effect. I also wanted it to show up in contrast to the patterned paper. The other neat detail to take note of is the ribbon. Yes, it curls!!! Not crazy curls like wrapping paper ribbon, but classy curves to keep people guessing how you did that!

Happy Thanksgiving with Gilded Autumn

Love of Leaves and Stitched Leaves Dies

Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. Today I am sharing the Love of Leaves and Stitched Leaves Dies with you. How perfect for this time of year? The leaves on the tree in my front yard are just starting to change. We have already had our first frost, so we are in for an early fall I think. For this blog post I have combined the Love of Leaves Bundle with the Plaid Tidings paper.

Love of Leaves and Plaid Tidings

This simple pop-up card was inspired by a video I just happened to catch on a Facebook live by Ronda Wade. I thought the simple pop-up mechanism was genius and can’t believe I have never done it before. That changes today! You are going to love this technique too. I will be making this card and a few others on my weekly Facebook live video on my new Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper group. Here is my card:

Love of Leaves and Stitched Leaves Dies

Inside of Love of Leaves Pop-Up Card

Here you can see the inside of this great card. Don’t you just love the colour combination of Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock and Early Espresso? I think I would like a shirt in this plaid.

Love of Leaves Bundle

Here you can see an even closer view of the leaf popped up.

Love of Leaves and Stitched Leaves dies

Here is the simple mechanism for the pop-up feature in this card. Simple cut two snips 1/2″ apart, 3/4″ deep along the centrefold of the card.

pop-up mechanism

Push the snipped section into the centre of the card. Add some Stampin’ Seal to the left hand side of the “bump out” section. Attach the leaf to this so that when the card is closed it lays flat inside the card, but when the card opens, it pops up!

Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper

In response to the COVID situation I have been looking for ways to keep my business viable and I have come up with this great new private Facebook group. If you enjoy the longer tutorial videos where I make the cards from start to finish with all the tips and tricks you need to be successful, then this group is for you. It is only ten dollars a month which is approximately the cost of a cup of coffee per week! Besides the weekly live videos on Thursdays at 3pm, you also get a monthly 16 project pdf tutorial AND a weekly draw. As one of my followers said, it is also a great safe place to interact with other stampers. I hope you join! The first draw happens at ten am today.

If you want to join Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper just click on this link and follow the instructions. This group is a free perk for my team members, another great reason to get the amazing deal on the starter kit before the end of September. Read more about it here.

Thanks!

I am so happy that you stopped by today. Enjoy the fall weather and happy stamping too. Have a super day!

La Dame Blanche

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Today I will be talking about La Dame Blanche, the white lady. If you are a fan of Outlander you will recognize this as the name that the French people gave to Claire because they thought she was a white witch. Isn’t it the perfect name for our new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine? It is white and it does magic!

La Dame Blanche:  A Great Machine!

Ok, so maybe I am a little nuts but I can’t call it the Big Shot and I really don’t want to use the long official name “Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine” every time. So, La Dame Blanche it is. Sounds sophisticated too don’t you think?

Well, the bottom line is, this machine is truly awesome. I LOVE it. Why?

  1. It looks great on my stamp room table.
  2. La Dame Blanche is compact and folds up great for when it is not in use or you need to take it somewhere.
  3. It is simple to use with each plate being numbered and instructions clearly written on the platform and on some of the plates.
  4. La Dame Blanche comes with all the plates except for the magnetic plate.
  5. The magnetic plate is flexible and dies don’t skitter around on it, so no need for washi tape to hold your dies in place!
  6. The handles feel great and turn easily.
  7. Dies cut great and don’t need to placed a certain way to work. No more fussy poking either.

Save Shipping and Tax and Get More!

Did you know that there is a great deal on the starter kit right now? It is available for everyone and it is priced just right so that you can get this new machine, La Dame Blanche in your kit. How? Well, while you pay only $135, you get to choose $165 worth of product to put in your kit and this machine is $163. You also get two free stamp sets and 16 card kits as well as a package of rhinestone gems AND a coupon for a FREE Paper Pumpkin.

There are no strings attached to this deal. That means you can just get it because it saves you a lot of money. It does however entitle you to a 20% discount on future orders. This discount will be available to you until the end of January for sure. If you want to keep your discount indefinitely OR you want to turn this into a business or just some extra income, THEN you need to sell or buy $400 every three months. If that doesn’t happen you will simply drop as a demonstrator. No worries.

Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper

Of course I have to share my new venture with you since it really is just so much fun. In response to COVID and the lack of income from this I have had to come up with a sustainable way to stay in business. I love doing video tutorials and making cards with you with live videos but they take a lot of time and are quite intense. It was too much to continue doing for free. For less than the cost of one class you can join for a whole month!

What do you get? You get a weekly live video every Wednesday at 3pm. There is also a monthly 16 project pdf tutorial. I will also post throughout the week just for fun. Since it is a private group it is also a safe space for you to engage. If you have been following me but not feeling comfortable to post comments, this is the space for you. I post the list of supplies the day before so you can create with me if you like.

I will also do weekly prizes because everyone likes to win something! If you would like to be a part of this, you can! Just click on this link to get started.

Thanks!

I’m so glad you stopped by today! If you are still happy with your Big Shot, that’s great. Just know that the cutting plates and the new magnetic plate also work in the new machine. How awesome is that? I hope you have a super day.
