Hello stampers!! It’s so good to be back to share my love of stamping with you. Today I will be blogging about the Christmas Whimsy card kit. You may have noticed the cute whimsical images at the beginning of the holiday catalog and wondered where to find this kit. It is now available! Let’s take a look.
Christmas Whimsy Card Kit
The Christmas Whimsy card kit is part of our online kit collection. Kits are no longer available in the catalog and I will tell you why. In the past our kits were a bit confusing. Some included the stamp set and ink spot, and some didn’t. Some had instructions for the cards and some didn’t. There were different price points and sometimes our kits sold out. Now the kits are all the same price and they all include the same basics: an ink spot, a stamp set, a clear block as well as all the consumable products needed to make your cards. All available kits will be seen online. When they sell out, they will be gone and this will eliminate the frustration of trying to order something that is either back-ordered or sold out.

I don’t know about you, but these whimsical Christmas cards remind me of Nordic Christmas folk tales. They bring me back to my childhood, although I realize that probably has more to do with nostalgia than reality!

The Whimsical Christmas kit also comes with a versatile stamp set so you can finish your cards beautifully and then use this stamp set for other cards too. Take a look!

Why Get This Kit?
I am on a mission to get my stampers to share their hobby with others! The past two years have taught me that this amazing hobby has more meaning and purpose than ever. Let’s try and give the gift of stamping and creativity to more people. I think we can all agree that we need more joy in life. More moments to treasure, to slow down, to enjoy the little things and each other. Less screen time. Less loneliness.
If you are a seasoned stamper, I would encourage you to get this kit or a different one if you prefer. Invite a few friends over if you feel comfortable having people in your home (I know at first it can feel a little weird after all this time of isolation!) Take a photo of your group enjoying the kit and I will send you a surprise in the mail!! Click here to order your kit in you live in Canada.
A Personal Note
I thought you might want to get up to speed what is happening in my life. Gerard was finally able to visit me from August 28 to September 7. Yesterday we were able to fly back to Holland together, which was so very lovely!! Our first time flying together and not having to say goodbye at an airport. When the KLM crew heard about this and the rest of our story they surprised us with a tray of champagne in real crystal stemware, chocolates and nuts as well as a handwritten postcard. Quite unforgettable really!
We had a whirlwind tour including a wonderful two day visit with my parents, my cousins on my mom’s side and then a visit to Ottawa and Montreal. Having five kids has never felt so busy as now!!
Thankfully my back is doing much better. I was concerned about the plane ride, but I managed just fine. It helped that we had an extra empty seat beside us and I could lay down for a while with my head on Gerard’s lap! His lap was much cosier than the seat armrest!
Sharing What I Love
I hope that you will join me on Tuesdays for the weekly virtual coffee and a card classes. At 10am EST I will be live on YouTube and on Facebook I hope! I am going to do a trial run and see how the internet is doing here at Gerard’s house. He has made some changes and has done his very best to make this possible. If the speed is not sufficient then I will prerecord these classes for the highest possible quality.
Blogging should be back up to speed again as well. I do love connecting with your this way and it keeps me creating. This time I brought a LOT more supplies with me so that my creativity isn’t stifled. I am also trying to set work hours. In the past when I was in Holland I often slept in thinking that all my people in Canada were still sleeping too. This became a bit of a problem because I was often on my computer in the evenings and then it seems like I am working all the time and that is not healthy for a relationship! We’ll see how it goes. Let me tell you, 7:30 came way too fast this morning but I did it!
Thanks for joining me and I hope you have a super day. Looking forward to sharing what I love in Holland too.

Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. There is so much excitement today that I hardly know where to start. Too much stimulation for this squirrel!! Let’s start with the amazing deal on Paper Pumpkin that starts (and may possibly end) today. Then we’ll talk about the amazing deal on the starter kit.
Paper Pumpkin Deal
This deal is only available while supplies last, so I would jump on it if I were you. When you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin today you pay only $7 instead of $30 plus tax. This deal is for new subscribers only but you can also find a way around that by using a different email address if you have subscribed in the past. To get the deal you need to use the special deal code HOMERUN0521. This deal is not available with prepaid subscriptions.
The best part of this besides the price is that you can cancel at any time. You are not locked into a subscription. You can also skip a month whenever you want to. Just log into your account to do that before the 11th of the month. If you think that the upcoming kit will make a great gift you can also choose to have more than one kit sent to you.

As you can see from the graphic, you only have three days to get this deal if it doesn’t sell out before then.
More Amazing Kits
One of the reasons that some people choose not to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin is that there is usually no way of knowing what is going to be in the kit. Sometimes we get a teaser as to colour or theme, but the actual kit contents are a surprise. Stampin’Up! has now revamped its kit collection. They are now all the same price and have the same packaging. I am thrilled that some of these kits are Past Paper Pumpkins. The price is $26 and includes a stamp set, an ink spot and an acrylic block plus glue dots and dimensionals and any accessories you might need.
These kits will be available to order on June 1 and you know what that means? It means that you can also take advantage of the extra host rewards. I will share which kits are available and then you can show your friends. Pick a kit and we can do a virtual stamping party. With a $300 workshop you will get $60 in host products. Sweet deal right??
My Favourite Kit
You should have heard me squeal with delight when I saw that No Matter The Weather was one of the kits in the lineup. I had many disappointed people who missed out on this kit. The last Wednesday of the month will be my kit class and this will be the first kit I will be featuring. I will create an event on Facebook and then you can order the kit on June 1 and join me for some fun stamping on June 30 at 7:15pm.

Here you can see what all comes in this lovely kit!! I am so, so excited to stamp with you using this kit. I really hope that if you are a beginner stamper that you take the plunge. Truly, you don’t know what you are missing until you ink up a stamp and put it to paper. Instant artistry! For me that was a powerful and transforming moment and I would love for you to experience that too. Tell your friends and have them join you (and me!) for a fun evening.

If you want to see a gorgeous alternative card made using this kit, check out this blog post.
Brand New Catalog Product Shares
One of the best ways to get new product without breaking the bank is with a product share. That way you get a little bit of everything. For my paper share I simply chop the 12 x 12 paper into four sections, so you get a 6 x 6 inch piece of each of the designer series paper that is in the new catalog. Cost is only $60 for porch pickup or a small shipping fee will be added to ship anywhere in Canada.
For my ribbon share you have two options. You can either get a yard of ALL the ribbon and twine in the new catalog for $43 or you can get just the NEW ribbon and twine, a yard of each for $20. If you need it shipped there will be a shipping charge, the cheapest rate I can find of course. You can sign up on the Facebook event page here.
Amazing Deal on the Starter Kit
Over my fifteen years as a Canadian demonstrator I have built up a very fun team. We gather often with Zoom, every week when I am in Canada and a little less often when I am with Gerard in Holland because of the six hour time difference. There are weekly stamping challenges and I also offer my team members a free pdf tutorial every month, weekly training videos on Friday at noon and weekly video tutorials on my Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper group.
Why am I telling you all of this? Because there is an amazing deal on the starter kit right now and I would love for you to get it and by doing so join my team. The 20% discount that you will get is only the icing on the cake. Belonging to a tight knit supportive team is truly amazing! There is a spot on the Beyond Pampered team waiting just for YOU.
Do you want to hear about the deal? As always the starter kit is $135. You get to choose whatever products you want to put in your kit. The best part? You get to choose $206 worth of products plus you pay no shipping or tax. Wow!!!! Basically you are getting $256 worth of products for only $135. Here is the link to get started on this exciting venture.

A Lot to Think About
I know that I have given you a lot to think about in this blog post. The most important thing is that you are happy. I hope that you are still finding time to stamp and that you are using your hobby to also bring joy to others. Hopefully you can join me for one of my classes, be it a kit class, my Bingo night or a paper or ribbon share. There are still a few spots left in the June virtual coffee and a card class, so let me know if you want in on any of these.
Thanks for joining me, I hope you have a super day.
by Jackie Bultje | Apr 28, 2021 | kids cards, kits, Paper Pumpkin |
Hello stampers and happy Wednesday to you. Today I am going to show you the very happy and cheerful So Cool Paper Pumpkin kit. I really love this kit, even though it was geared especially for kids. The So Cool Paper Pumpkin kit has twelve cards in the shape of popsicles, rainbows and watermelon slices. There are two fun sticker sheets included for decorating your envelopes that are lined inside with pretty rainbow stripes.
So Cool Paper Pumpkin
This So Cool Paper Pumpkin is especially “cool” because it also coordinates with our Sweet Ice Cream suite. Just like outfits, there are so many more possibilities when there is increased coordination. I had a quick play with this kit yesterday and here is what I came up with. Let’s take a look.

Alternative Cards
I thought it might be fun to take the envelope apart and use that striped paper for an “awning” that you might see on an ice cream shoppe. Do you see a new product being used on this card? The awning was cut using a new die from the Basic Borders dies that will be in the new annual catalog. I cut the watermelon sticker up to make two wedges. Do you see the golden bee embellishment? They are also in the new catalog. There was a smudge that needed covering up so this was the solution. Cute eh?

For the next card I used the Basic Borders dies from the new annual catalog to create the fancy edge along the card as well as the “bitten” popsicle look.

This easel card will be the feature for my video tutorial in my private Prime Time With The Pampered Stamper group on Thursday. For the third time I used the Basic Border Dies. I think they are going to be a staple in my repertoire.

Great News!!
Did you know that if you have never subscribed to Paper Pumpkin before that you have an incredible opportunity on May 7? Starting on May 7 you can subscribe to Paper Pumpkin for only $7 for your first kit instead of $30. Shipping is included but tax will be added. I have a feeling that it will sell out very quickly so be ready to put your order in right away. Here is the link to subscribe. You will need to add this code HOMERUN0521 to get the deep discount. Remember it will not work right now, you have to wait until May 7.
If you were a subscriber a long time ago and you want to subscribe again and get this deal, you can. You just need to use a different email address and you will be fine.
Thanks!
Thanks for joining me again today. Today is supposed to be 20C here in the Netherlands. I think we will have an especially long beach walk today with Bailey. Maybe I will take a blanket and my book and really relax. Life is good. Pap is doing so well. He even went for another drive on Sunday and I was able to do a video call with him yesterday. God is so good and I am so very grateful. I hope you have a super day too.

by Jackie Bultje | Apr 9, 2021 | kits, Sweet Ice Cream, virtual coffee and a card class, YouTube channel |
Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Today I am sharing my Sweet Ice Cream Class in the Mail. This is also known as my Virtual Coffee and a Card class but this sounds a little more user friendly. I am thrilled that this bundle is once again orderable. The punch had been unavailable for ordering for the last month or so.
How Does It Work?
How does my virtual coffee and a card class work? Every month I offer a different focus for my class in the mail and next month it is the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle. It costs $25 per month which includes postage anywhere in Canada. The challenge is that I cannot include stamped images so I try very hard to design cards that focus on our pretty paper, punches and die cuts. You can order the bundle that I am using online if you like or you can substitute with stamps that you already have.
The other option is to subscribe and then you receive a gift from me after 6 months as a special thank you for committing to this program. It is really nice to know ahead of time how many kits to make! Deadline to sign up is April 21. You can subscribe here.
If you do not like to use PayPal you can also pay with cash, cheque or etransfer.
Sweet Ice Cream Cards
Here are the cards that I will be making with you for the month of May. Every Tuesday at 10am I go live on both YouTube and Facebook to make one of the cards with you. You are welcome to play along with me even if you don’t get my kits. The beauty of the kits is in the instant gratification!

You may notice that I do not have any of those cute Ice Cream Corner sprinkles embellishments. I forgot to order them!! They would make a super cute addition to these cards no doubt. Perhaps I will write a tutorial for these cards as that would give people an alternative to subscribing to this class. If you would be interested in that option, let me know.
Thanks!
Thanks for much for joining me today, I always appreciate it. It’s a gorgeous spring day so I am going to get outside, mow the lawn and plant some daffodils. You are probably thinking, plant daffodils? Don’t you have to do that in the fall? Well, yes. Funny story. One of my dear customers gave me some bags full of bulbs and I ran out of time to plant them so they were still laying beside my garage. Two days ago I noticed daffodils blooming there! They bloomed right from the bags without being planted in the ground. I figured such determination deserves a reward, so they are going to be planted today.

I hope you have a super day!!

by Jackie Bultje | May 11, 2020 | For the Love of Felt project kit, kits |
Hello stampers and happy Monday to you. For the Love of Felt is a fabulous kit in the annual catalog that I waited too long to get. It is a very unique kit that is unlike any other kit that Stampin’Up! has offered. I think this kit is perfectly suited to spring and summer with it’s bright and cheerful felt flowers and leaves. Would you like to see and hear some more about it?
For the Love of Felt project kit
Like the name of it suggests, this kit focuses on bright and beautiful felt accents; flowers, leaves and stitched elements. The kit does not include the stamp set, but I highly recommend getting the stamp set as well since you will want to make the cards exactly as shown. If we were in normal, non-COVID times everyone would order the kit and then come to my place to make the cards together using my stamp set. Now you get to spoil yourself and get both!

A Closer Look at the Cards
Here you can see how nice the cards look up close. I am looking forward to playing with this kit to make different cards too.

Here is one last picture that shows the pretty box and a glimpse of the envelopes too.

Why Get a Kit?
Kits provide instant gratification. They are a great starting point for your own creativity. What I like to do is to make one of each card design exactly as shown in the kit. Then I will put it away for a little bit and get back to it to do something different. Sometimes all I will switch out is the sentiment. I really like what fellow demonstrator Sharon Burkert did with it. You can check out her blog post here.

Thanks!
Thanks so much for joining me today, I really do appreciate each and every one of you. My hope is that I can connect with you in a meaningful way and provide you with creative inspiration. If you live in Canada I would love your business or if you are an avid paper crafter, then you should seriously consider joining my national team with a great international training group. Not only will you get your own continual discount, you will also belong to a fantastic tribe and have the possibility of growing your very own business. I would love to share what I have learned over the last fourteen years as a demonstrator with YOU! Have a super day.

by Jackie Bultje | Mar 20, 2020 | kids cards, kits, Paper Pumpkin |
Hello stampers and happy Friday to you. Before this whole COVID-19 pandemic I created a new class called The Littles and Me. It was to be held every other Saturday and it was to be a fun, easy class for any adult and child combo. Now with responsible social distancing I had to get creative. Paper Pumpkin to the rescue!
Keeping Your Family Entertained
People are keenly feeling the stress of social isolation. There are few distractions available to help spend time with your children and so it is time to get creative and I would love to help with that. I am a huge believer in meaningful creativity. When a crafting experience can also serve a good purpose, it is a winner in my eyes. For my Littles and Me class tomorrow at 10am I am using the No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin kit. This is definitely a God thing. Who would have thought that I would order 30 Paper Pumpkins with the hope that I would have enough people sponsor a kit for the Cancer Campaign?
Stampin’Up! does not permit us to included stamped images in our kits. There is a good reason for that! Pre-stamped images would negatively impact the sales of our stamp sets. The purpose of Stampin’Up! is for people to experience the joy and thrill of inking a stamp and putting it on paper. When I had to cancel my in person Littles and Me class, I needed to find an alternative that would allow the kids to be able to stamp along with me at home. Yay for Paper Pumpkin.
The Bonus Set
Since March was the sixth anniversary of Paper Pumpkin, there was a bonus stamp set in this month’s kit. I took those bonus stamps out so that I could build another class around it and have enough stamps so that the littles would still be able to stamp along with me. Today I am going to share the cards I made with this set. I would highly recommend that you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin if you haven’t already done so, your kids and grandkids and maybe even your partner will thank you for it!

No Matter The Weather
These cards definitely coordinate with the stamp set in the No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin kit, but they can also be used alone. I did use the cloud stamp and the brick stamp from the Paper Pumpkin stamp set, but I know that kids can easily draw their own clouds and bricks as well. Here is a closeup of one of the cards and the stamp set that you get with this class. If you would like to see the cards from the first class, click on this link.

The Littles and Me To Go Online Class
What is included with this class? How does it work and how much does it cost? It is $35, you get 20 notecards and envelopes, two ink spots OR a full sized used ink pad (I am clearing out my extras) and the stamp set. You pick up the kit from my front porch after you have prepaid and I will do a live video on Saturday March 28 at 10am. I am hoping to be able to do a weekly kids class so that they have something to look forward to. This is something that the whole family can participate in and then you can take more time to write notes and letters inside the cards you have made and mail them to your relatives and friends who need some happy mail.
Stay Safe
Social distancing will definitely slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and will keep the vulnerable population safer. To help with this I encourage you to order your kits online directly through my online store. I can recommend the following kits and the links to them will be in the supply list below if you live in Canada, if you live in the States you can shop with my cross border buddy Julie Gilson.
- Paper Pumpkin, a monthly subscription or get one, three, six or twelve month prepaid subscriptions so you can get free host benefits and saleabration freebies (until March 31)
- Three Cheers for You Card Kit.
- Botanical Prints Product Medley (you get a free pdf tutorial from me to make 12 cards)
- Seriously the Best kit (stamp set sold separately) Here is my blog post on that one.
- Looking Up Card Kit
- Notes of Kindness Kit
- Lots of Happy card kit
- For the Love of Felt project kit (stamp set sold separately)
Thanks!
Thanks so much for joining me on my blog today, please do pin and share as much as you can to help spread the word about paper crafting and meaningful activities to do with families and to connect families that are apart. I hope you are doing well and staying hopeful. Here is the recipe for my delicious banana muffins. The muffins take 20 minutes at 350F. I did substitute half the flour with oat flour (just put oatmeal in the blender and grind it to powder). I did not add the glaze to the muffins but that would have been delicious!

You can see this is a well-seasoned page. If I remember correctly it made 2 dozen muffins. Happy stamping and happy baking. #itsallaboutthetreats #thepamperedstamper
Have a super day!
